"This review is for an estimate request. I regret that I let this little man into my house. Read what his employees say on Yelp. Beware. Some years ago Tim Cohen worked here and did a respectable job, so I called on him again. Much remodeling and paint work has been done here in the interim and we are still buried under disarray and piles of boxes, and frankly I'd forgotten the details of the work Cohen previously performed. Cohen's hostile reaction to my lapse caused me to apologize. I should have seen that power play as a red flag. Unfortunately, his presentation of self has changed drastically over the ensuing years and I would not recommend him in 2024. Self-assurance is admirable, but arrogance is not, and a bit of empathy and human kindness in light of my obviously disruptive, active construction site could have gone a long way to changing this review. When on site I asked him to provide an estimate to paint a bedroom and repair the work of a previous contractor who botched the paint work leaving thick drips and bad edges. In response, I found Cohen defensive that I was critical of the work done by another and especially that I didn't recall the details of the work he did years ago. He made notes and left. Instead of sending the promised estimate, Cohen e-mailed an unrequested copy of the invoice of the work he did here previously, apparently to remind me of what I'd forgotten. Along with his refusal to take the new job, he retaliated with a rude personal attack which used broad, unfounded generalizations and resorted to name-calling. (His email is on file.) Only a bully who thinks he can get away with it, responds to an estimate request with a verbal attack on a customer. Any other contractor would have just tactfully refused."

"Ray and his team are miracle workers! Our home is a renovated 40's farmhouse with multiple additions. The basement (especially the "original" portion) had been pretty much untouched for decades before we moved in - we're talking junk, dirt, spider webs, bugs, etc. Ray and his crew did a haul-out of everything still remaining and then a deep clean with pressure washing/sanitizing. They also procured and installed steel shelving for storage and then organized the items we wanted to keep on the shelves. The basement is unrecognizable! We could never have accomplished this much on our own. The team was also prompt, polite, and FAST. I am amazed at what they got done in less than two days! Ray even fixed our broken screen door on his way out!"

"We discovered we had water damage to the flooring in our laundry room and needed to find the source, as it did not appear to be coming from our washing machine. We contacted Joe and he was able to fit us in within a couple of days. We were able to discuss our water issue beforehand on the phone, and he contacted us when he was running a little late the day of the appointment, so we appreciated the clear communication. He removed some damaged flooring and drywall to discover that the wall was wet on the inside and there was a lot of mold present. He then ran water and tested the many different faucets that had any possibility of being the source of the water. He found the leak to be originating from the condo next door so we could contact someone else to turn off the water, preventing further damage. Joe was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. He was very nice and said he would share any information needed with our insurance company, which was helpful. Thank you Joe!"

"the employee kept trying to get me to upgrade.He kept saying he didn't get paid anymore if i do but i should really get it.after about 5 tries then he said how about just 1 room after i said no again he finally stopped.Then i told him he needed to go through the back door instead of the front he got upset .Then when he finally finished his parting shot was he could smell cat pee and i should had gotten upgrade but dummy didn't realize cats don't go in the room he made that comment.Your stupid employees should be more professional and watch their mouths.no way in the world would i use you again especially because i have called and complained and filled out 2 surveys"
