"This review posting is very unfortunate as I have never had this experience with Kappas before and they have been to my house multiple times and have always been helpful. Sunday of this week our water stopped working. We had already been experiencing some issues and had changed out filters ourselves and had called kappas that came out to look and didn?t charge us to do so. So Sunday with no water we called and were told someone would be there Monday morning to check. Two workers came and discovered our well pump had died. We were quoted at a cost of 6500-8500 to replace (which after some research have discovered that quote is outrageous). They started to pull out our pump but a few minutes later told us it was stuck and they would need a different machine but because of where our pump was in vicinity of power lines they wanted their boss to come and take a look. "August 26 called JSP out to check on my xtrol pressure water tank because it was making a clicking noise that was coming from the power switch. Came out same day said the bladder ruptured would need a new tank. I agreed because the tank was 12 years old. Installed was a flex lite tank which he said was better. I'm a senior and a widow took his word for it. I paid $2172.66. It was not itemized. He gave me a $50 discount. He told me I would get water bursts for a while coming from faucets. Well he was right, however I lost pressure in my kitchen and bathroom faucets and the toilet was rumbling when filling and flushed. I called them out to check. He did not go under the sinks to clear the lines, instead he said it must be your faucets. He quoted me a price of $1303.48 for kitchen faucet if they picked it out fully installed or $756 if I bought the faucet myself. 3 strikes your out. Didnt fix problem. Found out I was over charged for flex tank $1200 instead."
