"Outstanding Service from Mike from “My Plumber” Mike is the Real Deal—Reliable, Honest, and Always There When You Need Him Good help is hard to find, but Mike? He’s the best. I called him about an issue with our water heater and low water pressure in the first-floor bathroom—20 minutes later, he was at my door. Not only did he fix everything fast, but he wouldn’t even take a dime for it. Mike is straight-up hardworking and honest. He shows up when he says he will, does the job right, and actually looks out for people. He’ll tell you what’s needed, help you save money, and never tries to upsell you. He’s not just a great plumber—he’s like family. If you need someone you can trust, Mike’s your guy."

"Found Rich's company online. When I was looking to get a new on demand hot water heater installed, made by Rinnai. He was super knowledgeable over the phone. Very quick to arrive for estimate. Good pricing, but even better, outstanding work! Even though he was extremely busy, he was able to fit me in. So I could get my rebates by the end of the year. Worked extremely hard from sunrise to sunset. I was naive and did not know how much was actually involved. Very well worth the price he requested. Not only was the work outstanding. He made sure I knew how to work the unit and also do maintenance and was even honest to me. That he would rather see me do maintenance and thus save on the money he would charge to do it! Can not beat that! On top of this. He came back after the inspector signed off on the work and made sure I was still happy. You will not find another plumber that is great as well as down to earth."

"PLEASE STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS NIGHTMARE. This business stole a $4,607.71 deposit from me in November 2024. It does not matter how many times I call, it took picketing outside their storefront after 90 days to hear a single word from them. That word was that they never ordered my insert and they no longer have the money I gave them and they are not in a financial position to return my money. Something has changed and this has turned into a criminal operation. I have not seen any money returned from my deposit. They also told me the unit I ordered was not currently available, but the manufacture confirmed that statement to be untrue and I have another dealer installing within 3 weeks of visiting. You will lose your money if you give it to this place - you will get more heat burning those dollars. Look at Google and Yelp - I am not the only one that has been robbed by this company."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Clementon, NJ

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
