He came back out and sealed all the ducts, installed an air purifier and cleaned and sanitized all the ductwork. He was polite, knowledgeable, professional and hard working. "I called back on Monday, Donnie came out that afternoon and the price was great, he was professional and pleasant. The installers came Tuesday. A friend was at the house as I had to work and he kept calling me with things to ask Donnie. Donnie never sounded irritated and always said you are the customer and we want you to be happy. The issue required the technician to come back after he left Tuesday and he was pleasant as well even though it was already late. This technician couldn't identify why the unit was registering the correct numbers (my friend identified this issue, I would never had know, they left and all seemed fine). The technician was coming back Wednesday morning ( I had to take a day off of work) but Donnie first had another technician come to the house that evening. They found the copper pipes or whatever goes under the house was the problem and they needed to install new pipes through the attic. They never showed any disrespect or tone that wasn't professional and made me feel like the customer did come first. It took a lot of time and someone else to keep pushing the issue (my friend did A/Cs in Texas so he knew things luckily). When they say it isn't really the A/C that fails it is the installation, this could have been one of those. Thanks Service Star for great service. Luckily it isn't hot out but I can't really test the system but we will!"

"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"We're a couple living in a multi-unit condo building and identified possible issues with mold in the air ducts. Our landlord called Best Choice to assess and remedy the situation. Eric and Matt came out and identified what was going on, investigated the likely causes, provided a range of options, and executed exactly what they said they would do. They wound up cleaning the ducts with a sanitizing gas and installing a UV light at the AC intake to prevent future outbreaks. They were always professional, punctual, and all-around considerate. They were clear about environmental factors such as noise and scent, so we knew what to expect at every step. They were very conscientious of the current COVID situation, and, upon request, were always wearing a mask and distancing themselves as best as possible. Before leaving, they provided a clear outlook for what to expect as the dead mold spores exited the ducts. Best Choice came out on 08 June; it's currently 13 June, and exactly what Eric and Matt told us to expect is exactly what happened. They were also explicit on how to safely handle the UV light. The UV light hardware---for which Eric provided a range of options and our landlord went with an upper-end one---was a large percentage of the cost. Otherwise, Best Choice charged on a per-vent basis; we have six vents and one AC intake. Concerning price negotiation and communications to arrange appointments, we cannot comment directly, as we're renting, and the landlord did these things. However, based on how the actual service went for us, we have no concerns if we ever need to contact them directly. If we ever own in Central Florida and have issues with mold or air ducts, we're going with these guys!"
