Customers say: Quick response

"We had a remodeling job that required a plumber with a certain skill set and patience . We contacted Plumbing by BFW and the receptionist was polite patient understanding and professional she is the initial reason I decided to go with this company. They send reminders once you schedule an appointment and on the day of, a text message is sent with a picture of the technician and a mini bio introduction. This was a plus all the way around. Our technician was Sergio he arrived on time was very knowledgeable and explained in detail the things that he would do. He gave us a quote . He is the second reason we went with this company. Through out the project process he and his assistants were understanding and answered any questions. We did have some minor hiccups. but he either explained to us why it couldnt be done or suggested a different way. any issues brought to his attention was fixed right away Upon completion we recieved the invoice which was what he quoted. We were very pleased with his work and we appreciate his patience. His work was impecable and he did a great job. We will definitely use him and this company for our business and personal jobs in the future and would recommend him and this company. Thank you"

Small jobs welcome

"Steady drip from shower. They tried to make the existing valve work but had to replace it. Turned water on and verified no leakage from new valve or shower head. Noticed my shower mat was folded so they would step on the back of it to access the shower. Little thoughtfulness like that goes a long way with me. Highly recommend."

"They completed the task. No leaking in the 2 areas. They only sealed the pipe when I asked for a replacement and they didn't restore the drywall that was cut. But the problem was solved"

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Dunn, NC

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
