Personable and answered all our questions. They have special brush equipment to clear debris from the vent piping, and then vacuumed it all out, and freed the external sashes. They also replaced and sealed the aluminum connector from the dryer to the wall. They recommend doing dryer vent cleaning each year for efficient operation, fire prevention from lint build up, and lengthening the life of the dryer. They also do heating vent cleaning which they recommend once each 3 years. So we will be back in touch and will have our other trustees in our condo group alerted to the importance of having this done."

"My experience with Aaron's chimney service was excellent all around. I contacted them in Nov./Dec. - their busiest season, and I still got a call back within 24-48hrs, and they came out within a week to inspect our chimney flues. The price for inspection is $99, which they said would be waived if any of the flues needed cleaning. Only one flue needed cleaning, so I was charged $150 total for all three flue inspections and one flue cleaning. They were very upfront about price, and followed through with what they said. There were no changes or additional fees. The two men that came out were very professional, they were very careful with all our things and they were careful to cover up the carpeting around the fireplace before cleaning. They recommended some work that we need done, and they gave us all the options (the more affordable, 7-10 year solutions, and the more expensive, lifetime guarantee solutions) and followed up within a week with a detailed report of all work done and all issues that might need fixing in the future (some more urgent than others). They were very honest and clear about what they found, and never made us feel pressured about getting the recommended work done through them (but we will). We have had several contractors here this past year to inspect/repair/paint/etc.(we just purchased our home 8 months ago), and by far Aaron's chimney service was the best of the bunch. I would highly recommend them for chimney/roof work, and now with all the snow we are getting this year, they just sent us an email letting us know that they offer snow removal/ice dam removal too. I would definitely have them back out for this or any other type of work involving roof/chimney maintenance."

"The 1964 bulkhead I had out back was replaced a year ago, but the wood and insulation underneath (the ceiling of the walkway underground to my basement under the back living room) took in water damage and the area was very musty for years. Tom Morneault of Morneault Environmental was the only guy I could find that would not only treat the wood to remove anything growing on it/get rid of the smell, but his team also removed old wood and insulation and re-insulated for me as part of the deal, which was still hundreds of dollars cheaper than the other companies I talked to, which would only remove the old wood and insulation, they don't put anything back in. Tom's team was here by 8:30 this morning and by 2pm they were done and it looks fantastic and smells crisp and clean. They didn't even stop for breaks or have to make any trips to get supplies, they had them all in the van, including the insulation boards. Very highly recommended if anyone is in the same situation."

"We had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Brandon and Superior Kitchen & Bath.  Starting the work we were concerned having heard nightmares about contractors in our area but we would enthusiastically recommend SK&B for any work.
Our experience got off to a very good start as not only did SK&B have the lowest quote for our project, they gave the most detailed quote, breaking down the sub-projects as well as estimated costs & allowances for parts.  This was the first project we had done as homeowners and it was incredibly helpful.  This was coupled to a very clear action item list of what we needed to provide for the project, including things like purchasing the rough-in valve and the date by which we needed to have tile picked out.  
When the work started, Brandon did a very thorough job protecting our floors and stairs with protective covering.  The room was isolated with a plastic zip-up barrier to further keep dust, debris, and fine matter from the rest of the house.
 Once work started things went very smoothly.  When there were hiccups, we got updates quickly by text, email, or phone.  At the beginning of each week, Brandon also emailed us a schedule for what was going to be done each day and by whom (electrician, plumber, etc.).  He was receptive to change we wanted to make and helped us figure out how to do things.  One of the workers accidentally drove over some brick that line our walkway, breaking the brick.  Brandon came over on his own time and at his cost fixed these bricks so they look better than they did before.
The work was completed on time and exceptionally well.  We are very pleased with the work and the commitment shown to our project by SK&B.  When we decide to make other improvements to our house, we will be going with SK&B."

"They actually cut (very neat) holes in the basement furnace runs to reach up with chimney-sweep type cleaners and powerful vacuums. They also went down every register and cold air return in the house doing the same. What impressed me was that two these guys went way beyond what any technician from my furnace company (who I'd had an annual clean / inspect contract with for years ever did.) I had reported to my contracted techs that my blower fan was making a strained sickly noise for a couple years. They told me just to wait until it died and it would have to be replaced for ~$1,200. They also had told me that my 'state-of-the-art'(20 years ago) Lennox furnace would probably need to be replaced soon. The guys from Affordable Restoration,LLC took out the blower motor, showed me all the dust and dog hair and estimated that is was 90% occluded which was straining my blower motor, plus all the air to my house was coming through all that dust. They then cleaned and lubed the fan as well as an area of similar debris around a/c condenser unit within the furnace.  This clearly had never been done by my service contractors which I find despicable as clearly in their best interest not mine. Yes, the very neat holes were then very neatly patched but will remain easily accessible for future cleanings.The whole process took ~ 4.5 hours and did cost me way over what the cost of the coupon that drew me in, but I also feel that the maintenance they ended up doing saved me a new blower fan (and extended the life of my furnace) as my newly refurbished fan is now purring happily and quietly.  The guys also installed an ultra-violet light system (as used for sanitizing in hospitals). I would've never thought about doing this, but with our allergy sufferers and knowing how devastating a systemic mold problem would be I decided it was worth the ~$500. They also offered a good 'preventative package':  they will come back every 2 years to replace the ultra-violet light bulbs and do the same cleaning for $300. It's too soon to say how much this will help with allergies but to see the amount of dusty debris that is no longer in our system is a relief to me.
