"We've used Atlantic Heating & AC for many years and wouldn't consider any other company. Atlantic is extremely responsive, priced reasonably, and they always do a great job. We've never once had to call them back to resolve any issues associated with their work, and they've done a lot of work over for us over the last 9 years. Recently, our water heater died very suddenly; I came home from my office and water was leaking out of the water heater onto the basement floor. Within minutes, their service manager was guiding me over the phone regarding which valves to turn off etc. and he had me take a few pics to send to him. The very next day, a serviceman was at our house installing a brand new, much better water heater than the house had come with, and we haven't had an issue yet, and this was several months ago. I'm a Realtor and Atlantic has bailed my seller clients out of HVAC issues on a moment's notice, so I will always be grateful for the excellent sales and service that we receive thanks to Atlantic Heating and AC."

"I typically get several estimates before any major expense. I do this to gather information as well as compare price and the people behind the websites. Two other companies were recommended to me by friends. Accurate was my third estimate. My previous furnace was installed by Accurate and serviced by Accurate so I was going to check with them before buying a new furnace. Accurate even showed up first thing one winter morning when the furnace didn't turn on. 



Each estimate said something a little different about which furnace to buy and how it should be installed. Derek from Accurate showed up on time and appeared to know the product and the installation requirements - including the expectations of the local building inspector. The building inspector has to approve the installation when it is finished. I honestly don't know if I chose the right furnace by purchasing a TRANE. I didn't want the most expensive model and I wasn't pressured to buy it. I did buy the pricey air  filter since a family member has allergies. 



The installation process went very smoothly. The man who spent all day doing the installation was low-key, friendly, and appeared to be doing a careful job. E.g., he didn't talk on his cell or blare a radio. Accurate arranged for the plumber to do the gas line hook up and the electrician to connect the new furnace and install a CO2 alarm. The plumber returned at a later date to show the finished job to the building inspector.



 It took a lot of time to learn about the new high efficiency furnaces, talk to friends about how they managed home heating issues, and then meet with contractors. Since it's such an expensive and long-term purchase, it's a tough decision. I decided to stay with Accurate based on past experience and I think it was the right call.

"I had a leak in my oil tank and could not find someone that could replace my tank in less than 6 weeks, Paul called me back and really tried to help me out, he could install in less than 2 weeks since mine was leaking, in the end my oil company was able to get someone in sooner so I had to go with them given the cold weather we were having and needed to have heat in my house, I just wanted to let people know that this company got back to me and tried to help when I could not get others to even call me back. "The team at Boston Standard is great - very customer oriented. They always answer the phone, are polite and actually care about helping to resolve your problems, especially if you have a service plan! My repairman showed up on time and completed work within an hour to rebuilt the inside of my shower. He showed me the broken parts, had me test the shower when done and provided info on the warranty - 3 years! This is my 4th or 5th experience with smaller jobs and i have always been happy. With them you will have the peace of mind that your work will be done on time, with professionalism and a positive attitude by someone who knows what they are doing. If you are very budget conscious and want to spend as little as possible and like to take risks in whether someone may show up to get a deal, then i would not recommend Boston Standard, but if you want solid/reliable service and good work done then i would highly recommend."

"The work went fine. Eddie came on time to replace our outdoor water spigot and it worked well afterwards. We also asked him to return and install a new toilet for us in the downstairs bathroom. Again, he came on time, did the work, took away the old toilet and was very polite and helpful. He also installed a new indoor shutoff for the water supply to the house, and a new shutoff valve at the new toilet. We had a small problem with the toilet later, but, again, Eddie set up a time to come back, arrived on time, and fixed the problem quickly and cheerfully. He is very capable and easy to deal with and we are pleased with the work he did."
