"We engaged the company due to a moldy smell primarily originating from our basement. My wife was unable to use the basement as she is highly allergic. After initial treatment, there was a considerable improvement in the entire house, but particularly the basement. We did notice a slight odor remaining at the foot of the basement stairs. I called Wilbur and he had crew back within a day of my call and they retreated the entire basement, not just the spot we thought it might be coming from. Based on the quality of work ( moldy smell gone) and the willingness to return when we called for a follow up, we would highly recommend this company."

"We had our radon fan replaced by Radon Bros in January 2025. From the beginning, the new fan was noticeably louder than the previous one. At that time, the technician advised us that the increased noise was due to the fan being stronger than our prior unit. Over time, the fan became increasingly louder and ultimately stopped working in early December 2025. When a technician returned to replace the fan, we were informed that the fan originally installed was defective and that Radon Bros had stopped using that manufacturer due to known issues. Despite this, we were charged a $99 labor fee for the replacement. We do not understand why we were responsible for this charge when the failure was due to a defective fan that your company was already aware of and no longer installs. We felt we had no choice but to pay the $99 in order to have our radon mitigation system restored and functioning properly. "

"Will (owner) was very prompt in responding to my questions. I decided to proceed directly to treatment (skip testing) due to a prior mold problem in basement. Because he had an opening in his schedule that week, I decided to take care of the treatment right away. His team was very polite and professional and answered all of my questions. It took only about an hour to treat my entire house. Very happy with the service I received."

FAQs for indoor air quality testing projects in Enola, PA

You should test your home's air quality if you or your family experience health problems like allergies or respiratory issues, as these could be linked to indoor contaminants. Also, consider testing if you're concerned about mold, radon, carbon monoxide, or if you've recently had home construction, demolition, excavation, or remodeling that could have released chemicals into your indoor air.

An indoor air quality test typically takes one to three hours to complete. After the inspection, you'll receive a detailed written report within two to 10 days. The evaluation includes comprehensive air sampling from all designated areas in your home. Your specialist will review the findings with you and provide clear guidance on steps to take if any issues are found, helping ensure your indoor environment meets health and safety standards.

A certified indoor air quality consultant or inspector is the right professional to perform your indoor air test. While some home inspectors have certifications, they often subcontract this specialized work to trained professionals with advanced tools. This expert will thoroughly evaluate air samples from every area in your home and clearly explain the findings to you. Be sure to confirm your tester's credentials before scheduling your service.
