Wrote out a detailed estimate of each items' cost (requested) and reduced prices on some things he had estimated that weren't needed. He ensured all items were done to code and completely reconfigured the main floor bathroom plumbing, which was very aged. All items installed neatly and to perfection any OCD Person (like myself) would appreciate. Would hire again in a NY minute!"

They installed my boiler heater furnace in 2006 and my air conditioning unit in 2009, and I have used them ever since for the maintenance and service on both. "I purchased a new AC unit last summer. When firing it up last month, the motor was dead and required a replacement. The motor had to be ordered, and I was told they would cover the cost of the motor (I should hope so), but I'd have to pay for the installation. I feel that, when purchasing a piece of equipment that expensive, one expects both the vendor and manufacturer to fully stand behind their products. Obviously, they did not. I tried to call the service manager to discuss this, but had to leave a message since he wasn't available. No return call. When the repair person came out to do the installation, I also asked him to have the service manager call. Again, no follow through. CAC also schedules for full day windows. For many households, that is simply not manageable. We have jobs, and I think the CAC policy is simply indicative that they are taking their customers' needs seriously. I have no complaints about the service technician that did the repair"

"Log the time they come in and leave: they will overcharge you a LOT!!! They may also have to come (like for me) three times before they advise you to replace the unit. But they will still charge you for everything pointless that they did before then. First visit: Added R22 and left. It didn’t work ($377.50) Second and third visits: Replaced capacitor and left. It didn’t work. Came back and condemned the unit as unfixable. ($185). This is Peter’s in Columbia, MO."
