He was very flexible overall and helped get my AC repair ASAP after it was broken. This was especially helpful since it was getting warm outside! He was on time for all of our appointments and communicated what needed to be done/fixed clearly, so I wasn’t left with a huge bill that I wasn’t expecting. "Excellent service! I had a 26yr old A/C and Propane furnace that I wanted to update to an ALL ELECTRIC high efficiency heat pump. The price in the estimate was much higher than I was expecting, but they worked with me and brought it down considerably, provided I could accept an install slot in a couple of days due to a cancellation. Go for it, I thought! Unfortunately, it turned out that the estimator/salesman (who shall remain nameless) apparently got a bit confused and set up the equipment as a hybrid propane system - not the all-electric system that I wanted. Ugh. I only realized this when the installers had the indoor unit in place, and I saw the propane burners. Doh! So, I explained the situation to them, and they pulled the unwanted unit out and jumped through the hoops to order the correct unit and its accessories (wiring, breakers etc.), with no change to the price. They were very friendly and polite through all of this even though it meant the wasted work and that they had to come back the next day with the new IDU. Anyway, the final install all went well, and they were very friendly and respectful of the property and explained all the install details as they went (sorry Melvin, for all the pestering!) I'm very happy with the company and the installer's knowledge and professionalism. RECOMMENDED!"

"I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. I highly recommend Bluestar for their reliable service and Isaac’s thorough and knowledgeable work."

"I found TriState Home Services on Angies list and contacted them. Since it wasn't an emergency I scheduled them to come out the following day. The Plumber (Chris) did a great job assessing the problem with the leaky faucet and indicated that given the age of the faucet (41 years), he could attempt to repair it but wouldn't guaranty how it would last and recommended that I replace it. I agreed with his advice especially considering the price comparison of repair vs. replace - the price was reasonable. The quality of the work top notch, on time, and as promised. "Just had an emergency visit to replace capacitor in one of my two HVAC units. Was able to schedule my favorite tech Kevin through the excellent front desk staff. Called in early morning and same day repair work - and Kevin fixed the problem even though the house electricity suddenly cut off halfway through the visit due to the remnants of Hurricane Debby coming through. Our family been with Holtzople since 2008 with the installation and maintenance of two TRANE heat pump units. We have always been extremely happy with Holtzople. Their expertise and knowledge of HVAC operations is superb. But most importantly, from the HVAC techs and Kevin to the front office staff, the people at Holtzople are kind, helpful and genuinely interested in taking care of us. He was able to quickly identify the problem with the registers and dampers and able to get warm air flowing to the otherwise very cold areas of the house. In addition, Jim was able to recommend some additional services that would help me achieve the desired evenness of temperature such as an additional return and humidifier for the home. Great experienced master certified technician!"
