"Our A/C failed during a very hot spell in June 2018 in St. Louis. Many service providers we called would not come. We called Vitt and told Jeff, the scheduler, about our problem: we had an old furnace (>50 years old) and had the blower motor rebuilt recently by Commercial Electric. Jeff gave us his cell phone number should we decide to go with Vitt. When I had the blower motor fixed, it was in the trunk of my car. I called Jeff and he sent Vic out that day. Vic and Dave came and removed the blower motor from the car and carried it into the basement. The J box was missing from the motor, and the wires leading to it had been cut too short. Vic spoke to Commercial Electric to confirm the correct approach to fixing the wiring. He drilled a new hole to compensate for the shortened wires and moved the capacitor to protect it from touching the filters in the furnace. He checked the relay box and made sure that the furnace breaker was working. After the A/C was successfully turned on, Vic and Dave checked the condenser for heat and then hosed it off. Both men were polite and listened to my information on the history of the furnace and its problems. They asked me appropriate questions about previous service companies. They were patient about my concerns and knowledgeable regarding older furnaces. The bill was reasonable for service provided by 2 men."

"We had Jones Air & Water come out to install filtration and replace a catalytic core system that we had installed to prevent descaling. In our situation, we had a high volume of Chlorine in the water that you could definitely smell and taste. The catalytic core system, didn't live up to the expectations and we still had to deal with a heavy scale build up noticeable on all of our faucets and with two Rinnai units for on demand hot water that raised concerns about what type of build up we were having on what we couldn't see. Everett came out and was very thorough in testing the water and then explaining a recommended solution. We finally decided on a dual media tank solution that Everett and JD installed that provides us with an efficient way to not only handle the Chlorine issue, but truly conditions the water and we're noticing all of the differences that Everett explained we should see. We are very satisfied with the whole process from the review of what our situation is, the recommended solution, the installation and the end result. My mother's air conditioning unit was about 20 years old and for the past 2 - 3 summers, she had had problems with the air going out. She used a warranty company but this time they wouldn't help saying she had had someone outside of the company work on her unit (which she hadn't). After many calls and conversations, she realized they would not help. She called me (my mother lives in St. Louis, but I live out of state) asking for assistance. I went online and called several companies, it was close to the holiday weekend and no one wanted to come out and to give a quote until the following week - after the 4th of July! My last call was to Manson's Heating & Cooling. They answered the call promptly - I didn't have to go through a series of prompts and button pushing to speak with someone, and they agreed to come out that same day. When the technician arrived (Kim), he checked everything out and stated her unit was basically worn out and did need to be replaced (which is what the two companies through the warranty company said also). At this point her air had been out for about two weeks with the temperatures in the 90's and she was desperate. He quoted her a very reasonable price, and she called to have me speak with the technician. He was very straight forward and explained to me what was going on with her unit, and why it needed to be replaced. I explained that I would be paying for the unit to be replaced, but that I lived out of state and could not get the funds to my mother's account until that Thursday or Friday. We were able to work out a deal over the phone that was comfortable for each of us and God Bless him, he put her unit in the next day!

I called her back that Tuesday and she was so happy to have them there putting in her new unit. She stated they were so nice and respectful. They arrived around 8 am that morning and everything was completed by early afternoon. She has had no further problems with her air and hopefully it will remain that way long into the future. But if something does happen, our first call will be to Manson's Heating & Cooling!

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"My experience with the Spengler Company was great.  Colby arrived at my house on time and then proceeded to perform the cleaning of my air conditioning unit.  He found that our refrigerant was low so he filled that up.  And he also changed our air filter for FREE!  He then gave me six options to replace the water heater in our home.  It was over 20 years old and had been leaking on the floor.  We selected the second option and he called it in and our water heater was changed out the same day!  WOW.  What service!  We couldn't be happier.
