"I hired Ace Repair Plumbing to replace my old failed water heater. I initially talked to Toni at the office and she was pleasant and professional. The office immediately scheduled a plumber to come out to my home. My plumber Doug checked out the water heater, gave me a quote, then started the replacement job. When Doug finished the job he thoroughly explained how the new water heat works and how the new plumbing system works. Doug was very knowledgeable, professional and polite. I will use this company again for any plumbing issues I might have in the future."

"Stuart is very knowledge about HVAC units and tries to repair versus replacement.  Extraordinary customer relations.

Also scheduled adding new insulation.  His work is reliable.   We had a few hiccups on the timeline of getting replacement unit installed due to call load. We plan to use him for normal maintenance going forward.

"Computer had been acting up for a while but I kept putting off getting it fixed.  After reading all the great reviews, I decided to give N.A.T.S. a call.  So glad I did.   Jim was able to resolve all my problems remotely - no drop off or pick up necessary - so convenient!  I feel like I have a brand new computer, it runs so well and FAST too.  I couldn't be happier and wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.  My only regret is that I didn't call him sooner.

"I had a Big Deal. They came out a few days after the deal was purchased. There was an additional charge. We they recommend all these other things and we decided to do them - cleaning additional ducts and sanitizing. For the $89 we paid for the Big Deal, it could have come with a bit more instead of having to pay all the extras. I'm not sure I'd use them again. I'd probably call around."

"Trevor and Jon responded to the call the fix our air conditioner that was still blowing, but not cooling. They did a wonderful job and went over and above by cleaning the units and performing a quality check that was over due. We are club members, so the cost of service was very reasonable. Yes, we will use them again."

"What a great group of professional people. Starting with Lindel, who came out listened to my concerns and desires for a new system; he then made logical recommendations and gave clear explanations. The day of installation Roland, Mathew, Justin, Brendon and Pedro were here to do what it took to install the new system. They were professional, personable and made sure the work was well installed. When they left, everything was clean and as if they had not been in the house. Except for the great new AC system and the promised quiet comfort. I will recommend these guys any day. Amazing great job!"

"Usually, I can expect the service person to try to sell me an add-on or something extra with every visit; although, that had gotten better because I complained about that. My 10-year warranty ran out this year, so of course, I was told several things about my system to encourage me to buy a new system or spend lots of money to fix/upgrade this system. Something is wrong with that. The system that preceded the one I have was 30 years old when replaced. Service persons have always been polite and responsive; the cost is what drives me crazy."

"I would recommend this company to ANY ONE!  The repairman was on time, courteous, clean (even took his shoes off and put on disposables) and well groomed.  I called to have my dryer heating element replaced.  While doing that the repairman checked my washer and found the agitator pins had broken which prevented the agitator from working properly.  Not only did he replace the pins, but cleaned out/washed out the laundry softner container on the agitator (this is a top load washer) and checked everything else.  He also showed me how to check to insure the dryer vent screen was working properly (to prevent another heating element burn out) and how to prevent the washer agitator pins from breaking again and how to keep the laundry softner dispenser from getting gummed up again and consequently not doing what it was intended to do.  He worked for over an hour, vacuumed behind and around the appliances for me, put them back and wiped them down.  Absolutely amazing - I was over the top impressed.  And I've not had a problem since with either the washer or the dryer.
Great, great experience and very reasonable on the cost.
My appliances are Maytag/Whirlpool, and they had the parts right on the truck!

FAQs for swamp cooler installation and replacement projects in Granbury, TX

Swamp coolers are quite energy-efficient, using only 15% to 35% of the electricity that traditional central air conditioning units consume. This can lead to significant savings on your energy bills. However, keep in mind that swamp coolers require water to operate and may not cool your home as effectively in extremely hot or humid conditions. When considering overall efficiency, it is essential to weigh both electricity and water usage, as well as the cooling needs specific to your local climate.

Evaporative coolers only work in dry climates because they cool by moistening the air. If the air is already moist, this will have little to no cooling effect. Central AC is a better choice if you live in a humid climate, such as the Midwest, eastern, or western coastal regions.

To install a swamp cooler on a roof, a local HVAC specialist will first find and cut a spot free of wiring and obstructions. They’ll then install metal bracing, legs, brackets, the ceiling duct register, ductwork, power, and thermostat wires. Once installed, they’ll seal all openings, attach duct connections, and install a thermostat. Before leaving, they’ll run cool water piping to the unit and inspect all the connections.

The cost to repair your swamp cooler ranges from $50 to $600, depending on the issue, whether new parts are needed, and the chosen repair service. Depending on the type of pad your system uses, you will need to change out the pads every one to three years for proper operation. When budgeting for the cost to repair a window unit, expect to pay around $230.

The U.S. Department of Energy states that swamp coolers can cool a single room by five to 15 degrees Fahrenheit. However, this largely depends on the size and installation method of the evaporative cooler. You can only achieve these results in a dry climate, such as the American South, as it’s easier to cool rooms in humid environments with central air.

Swamp cooler water usage varies depending on the size of the unit. Smaller evaporative units may use one gallon per hour, while much larger units could use up to 15 gallons of water per hour. Most homeowners can expect their unit to use between seven and 10 gallons of water per hour of usage.
