"When I initially called they were nice enough to tell me if I could wait until tomorrow they wouldn't have to charge me the emergency fee & would save me some money. This trend carried through the service and I much appreciated it. When the plumber (Matt) got there he tried everything he could to clear the line. He tried to not remove the toilet (to save us some $) but the tool he had was too small. He tried the larger tool but it was too big. He informed us that he would have to come back the next day with the medium sized tool.  When he came back the next day he fixed the issue we were having and in addition, looked at some broken plumbing under the bathroom sink.  Matt was friendly, courteous and on-time. Unfortunately I wasn't home when he came either day but he was in contact with me via phone and my dad, who was at the house for us, couldn't stop talking about what a nice guy he was. Hopefully we won't need to, but we would definitely use them again!

"Excellent experience overall. I was referred to Modern Mechanical through my home warranty company. I called on Monday and had a service appointment scheduled for Wednesday. Gary, the technician, called to let me know when he was on his way. He quickly got to work and identified the issue. He was very professional and personable and was able to explain the issue to me in a way I could understand. Although this was a service done through my home warranty company (meaning I didn't have a choice of provider), I would happily call Modern Mechanical for other issues in the future. Can't comment on price as I paid my home warranty deductible.

Briggs showed up and figured out the issue. They were able to coordinate and get parts on the same day, and get my system back up and running. These guys are amazing, I wouldn't call anyone else."

"Clover Services were able to provide service on short notice on a Friday. However due to the need to replace the fan motor the work could not be finished until the next Monday because of ordering replacement parts. Ryan arrived early Monday with the replacement motor and within an hour the AC was up and running again. I would call Clover Services again because I believe that the company responded and fitted me into their work schedule when they were fully booked on a Friday. Secondly, Ryan their Technician was very competent and courteous."

"Sila was great about scheduling repair visit same day. Repairman showed up early (good), diagnosed problem before he even got to the unit (bad capacitor, buzzing), had part onboard truck, and then fixed it in less than 20 minutes, total visit. Charged me $439. Cost was $149 for diagnostic/visit + $290 for replacing the part. Repair was so quick that it was less labor than would have been required for a more common diagnostic. Since doing research after the visit, I'm of the opinion that the cost was excessive -- perhaps twice what it should have been. Service was good, but I would think twice before using Sila again, say, to replace this 17 yo system down the road."
