"Scott responded to my request for a furnace service/tune-up quote within minutes. I had to call him a few times with questions and he actually answered his phone even though he was on a job. Very easy to work with. I made an appointment and he was able to work around our schedule. Showed up on time and called about a half hour before arriving. He did a complete tune-up and since I was out of town, called me to explain what he did. My furnace is about 28 years old so he checked the heat exchanger to make sure there were no cracks or leaking exhaust. Also checked cumbustion gases and other things to make sure everything was working properly. He said everything is working fine now and pointed out that because of the age of my furnace, I may want to think about replacement in 1-2 years. No pressure to replace it right away, just an honest assessment of the situation. I will be contacting Scott when I’m ready to replace the old unit. "Swimmingly. I interviewed quite a number of HVAC companies for this job by sending out an RPF (Request for Proposal), and Bob Mamayek was unquestionably the most thorough in his on-site evaluation. Installation crew was fantastic. This is a small shop, and it was a true pleasure to have a team of regular guys just getting the job done. I recommend them without reservation. I almost gave them a B for responsiveness because Bob doesn't do a lot of email, but I realized while typing that this would be completely unfair, for two reasons. A) Bob might not respond to email with email, but he did always respond with a phone call. Frankly, that is better on many counts. B) This ignores the amazing response to my RPF, which was both timely and thorough. So, really, this says more about my email-centric life than Mamayek's responsiveness."
