"The team of four was very professional and performed an excellent job in a record period of time. Just one day to take the old furnace away, replace all the old boots and duct work and install the new furnace. They paid a lot of attention not to damage or dirty the floor/carpet. I am very happy with their performance. They may not be the cheapest on the block but it was all worthed and you only have to do that once in your lifetime."

"I have an old pressure relief valve replaced today. the service person was great, and the installation went really well. My main complain was the price after I did an online comparison. usually, the PRV installation will cost around $500 on the high end, but Bell Brother charged me $1600 since the new valve does not fit the old pipe, and they needed to redo the pipe. My family has been using bell brother for many years, we trusted their workmanship, but the markup is just too steep to justify. I definitely learned my lesson, for small jobs, will use home-advisor instead."

My wife and I did a thorough search in getting the best A/C Contractor in the Sacramento area.  The search included Angie?s List, Better Business Bureau, California State Contractor?s License reviews, personal recommendations from neighbors and friends.  After all our searching we ended up going with Diamond Heating and Air.   We signed the contract with Bob Weatherford who is also the owner of Diamond Heating & Air.

Both my wife and I were especially impressed with Bob?s thoroughness in explaining the type of system we really needed, the SEER rating of the equipment, and the best way of replacing the existing outdated  heating and cooling system, inadequate insulation, and faulty duct installation.   These were all good suggestions in transforming our home into a more energy efficient and comfortable environment.   Also, it was pointed out that some of the existing ducts became loose and disconnected.  Fiberglass insulation was blowing into one of the rooms.  The outdated  ducts were installed many years ago, and were poorly installed, wasting lots of energy, and the duct work was hanging too low below the floor joists.  

Bob suggested that the new duct system be relocated and strapped contiguous to the floor joists which would allow us to walk underneath the house so we could better utilize the space for movement and storage.  Another big task involved the installation of new attic insulation.   This was a big job that required the knowledge that Bob has as being a Licensed Building Contractor.  

Again, the thing I appreciated the most was Bob?s honesty and the effort he made to make things right.  Bob and Elaine worked hard to qualify us for the SMUD low interest rate financing and qualify us for the rebates that SMUD and PG&E were offering.  This helped us tremendously in bringing down the costs of the project.    My wife and I are extremely happy that our home now has an excellent home energy assessment from SMUD and PG&E.  We expect that our annual electric savings will be significant.  We are very happy to recommend Diamond Heating & Air to our family and friends.

"We were in a huge time crunch as we needed the computer to be repaired TODAY! Jim came out on a Saturday (a big SEC football Saturday at that) and got the computer up and running. "Bon was very helpful and luckily had an opening for my HVAC unit during a crazy heat wave when all of the other big companies flaked on me or didn't have openings for weeks. My unit wasn't pumping out cool air and it was 90 degrees in my house during the heat wave. His prices and services were very reasonable. He gave me a free estimate by checking my vents and my unit. Luckily I just ran out of refrigerant and he was able to refill it when he found out I had very low levels. He noticed the builders who installed the unit was lazy and didn't waterproof the wiring correctly so he found a pool of water collecting in the sleeve holding the wires. "Although the heat exchanger was still under warranty - the labor intensive job to remove the old one and install a new one wasn't. The labor was $929.00 to complete this all day job. I decided to replace the inducer motor at the same time since it was only a matter of time until it failed. I called Zak - the general manager and he agreed to give me a long-term customer discount. Steve Brown, my service technician notified me that morning when he would arrive and was right on time. He was easy to work with, showed me the wear to the units and explained what he was doing throughout the installation. After removing the heat exchanger, Steve pointed out the evaporator coils needed to be cleaned and gave me a discount for that work too. No one likes an expensive HVAC repair bill, however Ray O. Cook worked with me to ensure it went as smoothly as possible. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future."
