"We selected Blair Heating and Cooling to install a Trane Mini-split ductless AC system in our historic 100 year old house. The system has two compressors and a total of 6 indoor units. From the start, Greg Blair and his team went out of their way in suggesting ways to accomplish exactly what we wanted. His team sought our feedback on every decision made right down to the routes the outside lines took to make sure they were as integrated as possible. Even though the job was difficult as our house is a three-story brick house with terra cotta blocks in the walls and metal where you would think metal shouldn't be, all of them remained positive, helpful and really excellent. I can’t recommend Blair any higher. This is the second job they have done for us and they are definitely our only choice!!"

"Very good service at a fair price. Service Manager Nick gave no pressure options for my situation. I elected for a new install which was performed within two days. Nick was very knowledgeable and responsive to my questions and concerns. Joe and Kaleb did an amazingly good job integrating the new furnace. "The biggest obstacle was scheduling.  The Angie's List confirmation email did not include the instruction to schedule on the Flow-Rite web site.  It took 3 or 4 emails to clarify that which delayed getting the work scheduled. 
The replacement parts worked fine with the exception of some excess plastic on the valve which prevented a tight seal and thus lead to a running toilet.  It took a few minutes with the razor blade to cut the excess off and allowed the seal to form properly.  This probably should have been done by the installer.

"The service calls went well. Two service men called and arrived within the appointed 2-hour window. On the first call, they inspected the A/C system for overall function and regular maintenance needs. This was the first time I'd had this system inspected (new house). They identified that the pressure in the system was low and provided an estimate for fixing that and making a couple other fixes -- a missing pad and couple loose internal pieces. They explained everything in detail, with instructions for what to monitor in the system to maintain its functionality. They returned the next day, with the additional equipment needed. They refilled the coolant and reset all the other components quickly. The system has been running efficiently all summer. The total cost came in under the original estimate, which was nice. And because they didn't have everything they needed on the first visit, there wasn't an extra service charge for the second visit to finish the job.
