"Only good things to say.  Mr. Burgwin an helper arrived on time, they took care to wear shoe covers and do all of the things that show a healthy respect for someone else's home.  Repairs and maintenence were completed in a timely manner, with professionalism and competence.  The wall switch used to turn on and off the fireplace was diagnosed for me.  I asked if he would not replace it as i would do that myself.  No problem.  Then it was on to the fireplace itself. He carefully removed the outer panels, and glass.  The panels were taken outside for inspections, cleaning and painting.  The logs were removed from the fireplace, thoroughly inspeced and cleaned as were the gas jets.   The metal panels inside, were also cleaned and painted.  The logs were returned to their proper place and Mr. Burgwin then added additional embers over the jet holes which provide the look and feel of a wood burning fireplace.  Finally the glass was cleaned on both sides and returned along with the panels to their original places.  My fireplace, looked and operated like new.  I wholeheartedly recommend Burgwin Plumbing and Heating for your gas fireplace repair and maintenance.  <br />"

"The techs showed up right on time and were friendly and professional. The toilet they were working on had had the seal replaced when we bought the house four years ago so the tech was surprised it was already leaking. After working on the toilet for a few minutes, they called me in to explain that the flange came up too high from the floor. He said they could cut the pipe to fix that issue, but that it would be much more expensive. Instead, we decided to use shims to make up for the height issue. They finished work on the toilet and then quickly fixed the sink pipe. I was originally quoted $175 for both repairs, but because the pipe was so corroded, it needed to be replaced (not just cleaned), thus resulting in a slightly higher cost. I could easily see the corrosion on the outside of the pipe, so I wasn't surprised and thought the price was still reasonable for both repairs. I would definitely call this company again for help!"

"When the water drained out of the washer hose into the pipe in the wall, it came out so fast that some of the water sprayed out onto the floor. Another plumber work on it a few months ago and he cleaned out the pipe and put heavy duty Drano in it. It was better for a few months and then started doing it again. When Wade came over I described the problem and he knew exactly how to fix it without any hesitation. He had solved this problem before in houses which were built in the 1960s. The cast iron drain pipe under the house over time becomes corroded so the passage way becomes very small. He explained everything and wrote a detailed estimate which was reasonable for the work. He replaced the drainage pipe with PVC pipe and fittings. While he was there I had him fix a running toilet and a blockage in my gas logs. So the $720 price includes replacing the main pipe under the house, fixing the toilet and the gas logs. He came two times. Always on time, courteous, neat. I'm very satisfied."
