"Needed Main shutoff replaced. They were able to give a good estimate and then complete the work immediately. We noticed hot water heater was leaking and at end of projected lifespan. They were able to give 2 options and I went with the cheaper one. I know it was more expensive than had I bid the job out, but I was happy to have it done on the spot. Very knowledgeable, friendly and profession plumber. Happy with the experience overall."

The installer from Orbit, a young man name JOHN did an outstanding job of installing, providing helpful information, and providing and extra service which required repair of a leak in the main water line coming into the house. "I had called 2 roofing companies and could not get them to come look at the problem.  Handyman Matters sent someone out to look at the problem the week after I called and they gave me a ballpark estimate to make the repairs.  They did not charge for the estimate.  I scheduled the work to be completed within 2 weeks of receiving the estimate.  They worked with me to schedule the work at a time convenient for me and also for when the weather forecast was favorable.  The repairman (Scott) arrived on time and began working.  He removed the siding where needed and found the source of the leak to be incorrectly installed flashing.  He repaired the flashing and also removed and replaced the shingles and roofing that had rotted.  Scott advised me the flashing was incorrectly installed and was pushing the siding away from the house all along the top of the roof.  He told me he could fix it if I wanted him to, even though it wasn't absolutely necessary.  Since he was available and I figured it may cause a problem later on, I decided to let him go ahead and fix it.  Scott had to go get some materials, but quickly returned and worked hard to get the work done just before dark (4-1/2 hours).  I had to pay a service charge on the repair visit and also a charge for disposal of the old shingles and roofing.  But I did get a $25 Angies List discount!  I was very happy to get my roof repaired before winter as the leak would have only gotten worse.  I would not hesitate to call Handyman Matters again.
