"UGI arrived on time, did a thorough check of our system and provided a detailed explanation of what was needed to correct the problem (we had a leak in the freon coils.).  He gave us options and suggested we meet with the UGI salesman for more details which we did within a few days.  UGI salesman was factual and not pushy.  He presented options for fixing our air conditioner.  The explanation included what tax credits and rebates would be available to us.  We ultimately decided to have UGI replace our air conditioner because of its age.   We were very pleased with the work done--it was completed on time, the team was very professional and patiently answered our questions.  Finally,  our basement was cleaner when they left than when they arrived.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"This was an offer to look at our kitchen and come up with remodeling ideas.  Our kitchen is 50- 60 years old and small.  Counter space and storage is very limited.  (14 sq. ft. of total counter space)  Our double sink is needed to handle the absence of a dishwasher.  (However, IF our flattop Corning electric range is cold, our countertop space increases by 35% even though that's not completely safe.  The situation is a joke.)  The kitchen itself is given as 11 x 12 ft, with 2 doorways and a passthrough window to a front sitting room.  The kitchen also holds our eat-in dinette (there is no dining room in the house).   I've looked at the kitchen before to figure out how to increase function and had an idea or 2 that really wasn't worth the effort and expense for the small return.  
Suzanne from Work Services visited and saw things that I simply wasn't inspired enough to see on my own and she had 2 ideas.  After 2 weeks we were  provided with 3D renderings of the ideas and one  was unbelievable.  We are excited at making her vision a reality here.
