"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. "The pressure relief valve of the boiler system of the house we recently purchased had been dripping constantly since we moved in, so we thought it best to have the whole system checked out before scheduling a repair. I purchased a seasonal tune-up from an Angie's List special offer ($99) in order to have the entire system looked over, and the owner got back to me within an hour to schedule an appointment, and was able to come out the same day. He arrived about an hour later than the scheduled appointment time, but called around the appointment time to let me know he'd be running late. After performing the tune up, he looked over the system and let me know what was in good condition, and what could use eventual repair, and advised that such tiny leaks don't usually require immediate attention and to put it off until the off-season (two of the on/off valves had tiny drips, and the automatic fill valve wasn't responding to pressure changes very well). He also corrected the boiler's thermostat, which was set to almost 210 by whomever serviced the house before we bought it-- 30 degrees hotter than it should be, which causes problems long-term. He quoted me for the dripping pressure relief valve ($90 for the service call and one hour of labor, around $100 for the valve) that had prompted the appointment, and offered to come back the next day within a 2-hour window. Ran about 15 minutes later than the 2-hour window on the second day. During the job, two of the pipes on the relief valve were corroded beyond being able to be reused (piping was installed in 1938) and he had to run and get new pipes. This stretched the job closer to two hours (including the time he was gone getting the unexpected parts), but I was still only charged for the original hour that he quoted, and the replacement pipes added $15 to the job. He was thorough, explained everything I might need to know to extend the service life of the boiler and system, and was very friendly. Overall good experience-- we plan to return to Faithful Heating for our annual tune-up in future years."

"I BOUGHT THE SERVICE OFF ANGIES LIST, FOR $199.00, FOR THE DUCT WORK CLEANING.THIS WAS MY FIRST PURCHASE I DID OFF ANGIES LIST, SO I WAS KIND OF UNFAMILIAR HOW THE ORDERING WORKED. I PICKED OUT 3 TIMES FOR THE SERVICE. I DIDNT KNOW THEY WERE GOING TO SHOW UP ON  1/22/14. I MIGHT OF MISSED THERE CALL OR E-MAIL. WELL WE WERE HOME AND THEY CAME PROMPTLY IN THE AM.  TWO YOUNG FELLOWS(JASON &JON) SHOWED UP AND INTRODUCED THEMSELVES. SHOWED THEM THE FURNACE AREA. THEY CHECKED ALL THE VENTS, HOT AND COLD RETURNS. THEY ASKED IF THEY CAN CLEAN THE FURNACE, AND SANITIZE THE DUCTS WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED,(AT A ADDITIONAL COST) WHICH I AGREED TO. THEY HONORED THE $199.00 COUPON. I WAS HAPPY WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.

"There is no air conditioning on the first floor of the non-profit house for which I am Property Director.  With the donation of and installation of a window AC unit, it was suggested that a ceiling fan in the living room (where the AC unit was installed) would help circulate the cool air.  I had worked w/Horizon Electric previously for electrical repairs, but not for an installation requiring new wiring, etc.  The owner, Lee, met me at the house within a few days and almost immediately found a way to wire in a new ceiling fan in the living room.  With further discussion we decided a ceiling fan w/lights would also be worthwhile in the dining area.  In that case he had to extend wiring to this adjacent room and, again, came up with a solution.   He quoted me a price for the installation of the living room fan only and another for the installation of both fans.  
With Board of Directors approval I was able to get back to him within the week and the following week both fans were installed. Even though Lee had told me that his workload was out 2-3 weeks, he understood the importance of getting these fans installed 
and that was done in record time.  The House Manager reported to me that the workman finished the installation of the fans we provided in one day, as promised, and, even with the house residents present (including young children), left nothing lying about that could be hazardous to anyone, was efficient and cleaned up the work area thoroughly after he was done.
We were billed the amount quoted.
I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend it.
