"A large tree fell on my home during storm & I hired another contractor to complete repairs which included replacing 9-12 rafters/sheathing/shingles, re-building small front porch & adding 3 windows to sunroom. Original contractor installed the windows & did a lot of work on the roof but were very slow & work was sub-par.....they also had issues getting project permitted & I finally had to let them go. I was in a real bind to get repairs completed as I was in the middle of re-financing house when the storm hit. I contacted Commonwealth & they were able to come out & assess what needed to be done. They got the permits right away & got started. Most of the previous work had to be re-done....they removed the windows & added headers & proper support & re-installed, repaired roof & re-built front porch. All work was done professionally & in a timely manner. Also installed interior trim (baseboards/windowsills/frame) in sunroom, which I requested at the last minute, so house would be ready for appraisal. They did a nice job matching the original trim on older home. Would definitely hire again."

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Jeff filled a rather large hole we cut in our ceiling.  He did a excellent repairing the ceiling and painted the entire ceiling.  It looks flawless.  Jeff worked around my schedule and was great communicating with me on each step of the process.  Jeff also did his best to minimize the dust from the sanding.  We would definitely hire As You Like It Painting again."

"We expected to have the advertisement honored, especially the part that stated that labor and materials were included. We received a contract about 3.5 months after we signed up for the deal for $43K, not including any materials, except cabinets. We were responsible for paying for and supplying tile, counter tops, light fixtures, back splash, door knobs and pulls. We also asked about any warranty and we were basically told these were worthless regardless of what anyone promised.

Trey is definitely honest so we appreciated that. But just have to remember if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is! I think there was a lack of communication between the service provider and Angie's list. Just recommend before signing up, confirm all details with the service provider. And be prepared to pay extra for ANY upgrades or add-ons."

"Excellent! The owner came to the house when he said he would to give me a quote and discussed with me ways to save money. He came in well under everyone else also. Once I decided to go with his company he showed up at my condo when he said he would and got right to work. What made it better was that I had a renter in there and he did everything in his power to not disrupt her living space and was extremely professional. He removed all flooring, put furniture back, next day came back and installed the new flooring and put the furniture back again. He was done a day and a half earlier than expected."
