"When we first called Carl for a garage shelving estimate, he said he was in the area and would be by within an hour. We talked with him about what we'd like to have built and where we'd like it. He completely understood our needs, asked some intelligent questions, gave some valuable advice, and gave a good estimate for labor costs. He'd buy and bring the material to do the job and provide us with the receipt so we could reimburse him. We set a date for the next week. He arrived on time along with his adult son and all the materials he had bought for us plus all of his work gear. They set to work unloading our garage shelves (most of which were already containerized and boxed) into the middle of the garage floor. They worked very hard and very smart. The shelving was done perfectly on all three sides of the garage exactly like we had requested. They loaded our new shelves back up exactly where we wanted things and left some for us to do on our own at our request. They were very courteous, kind, efficient, and did an outstanding job. We've already asked Carl to come back and do some work for the interior of our home.

"Overall Dan was very professional, responsive and punctual. It is amazing when you have a vendor show up at the time promised! He was always at least 10 minutes before the promised time. Dan and Tony were able to complete the long lists of items within a few days. I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication. The guys even came to my place on a Sunday to put in a half day to meet my deadlines. Be sure to be clear when giving direction - we had a couple mistakes that had to be fixed along the way due to paint selection in the wrong areas within the property. Dan and Tony fixed the issues once addressed with no complaints. Dan went above and beyond to help me with issues that arose during the project (i.e. exchanging a damaged bathroom vanity and minor retro fitting to old plumbing). Thank you again Dan for everything! "We purchase an Angies's list coupon for  American Eagle Stone Work to do 4 hours worth of rotten wood repair........We initially scheduled an appointment and he never showed up....so I texted him in the morning and he
said they would be there at 2:00pm that day. The first thing he said...was he needed 200.00 more dollars for another guy to hold the wood... as we had a 16ft piece of rotted fascia board that needed replaced. 
He should just offer two hours with two guys....because I imagine he needs a 2nd person most of the time anyway.  He did agree to let my husband hold the wood and be the helper.
So we schedule with..American Eagle Stone Work a week and a half out....and then the night before at 8:52pm (when American Eagle Stone Work is supposed to be here at 9:00am to do the work..he emails and cancels saying he needs to schedule to next week. Then without even a phone call, or and email or a text....he shows up the next morning saying he is ready to work...but we had make plans to leave for the day. Not very professional.

"They told us they wanted 50% down. The estimate was for $3700 for leak repairs underneath eh bathtub. They would not write out an estimate unless I gave them 50% down and they would not deal with my insurance agent whatsoever. I could not work with them. I said I need the estimate fcould you please send or fax this to my insurance agency and they said they do not deal with them. They would not even send to me unless I gave them 50% down. I said who do you think is going to cut you the check; the insurance agency. He said he would have to open the wall, find the leak and repair the leak. I am not even sure the work myself since it was not written. The bathroom was leaking and there was water damage to the downstairs ceiling. I had to call about 5 times for one guy to just come over to give the estimate. When the guy came over he said it was his partner John. The guy was covered in tatotoos from his face, down his neck arms and back of his legs, covered in tatotoos. He had a ball cap on backwards, wearing shorts and flip flops, not someone you would want in your house. The price was the best. I spoke to my allstate agent and any reputable company should have enough to put the 50% down."
