Small jobs welcome

"Shayleen was very professional, explaining everything as she worked. She was physically very strong hauling her 3 bags of equipment & a 5 ft. metal ladder upstairs at once. She was very knowledgeable & thorough as she assessed for any water damage especially in kitchen & bathroom ceilings & halls in my 4 story town home. She was very prompt with her appointment time; next day report of the air quality. I will extent her recommendations of insulation replacement to construction team.. I am extremely pleased with her work; I have referred her to my neighbor already."

Small jobs welcome

"I thought he did a good job explaining what he did do but very disappointed they didn't explain that you had to pay a lot extra money to actually find out what kind of mold if any you had. The $199.00 fee they only looked for mold & tested the air quality. If they found any mold it cost a lot more to find out what type. He did say we had mold in our crawl space but not what kind, that cost more money. Overall good for what he did do."

"It went smooth and thorough and he gave us the information we needed to know. I was wanting to schedule something soon and they were able to come out two days after I inquired their services! Cant beat that. We also got a phone call explaining everything that was found for the air quality test and where to go from there. All their help was very much appreciated."

"Vickie arrived as agreed and went right to work. She looked over all the areas of the home, from the attic to the entire basement, concentrating on areas that I suspected might hide problems. She air-tested 3-4 major areas, pulled carpet, checked all sinks and toilets for leaks, even tested the screen porch carpet. I am anticipating the formal report this week, six days after the inspection. In addition, Vickie is very communicative and gave me lots of good information, and she promised to provide mitigation instructions so I can do it myself!"

"I called Jeff to get his thoughts on some asbestos duct insulation in the basement of a house we were making an offer on. He was out with an appointment, but called back ASAP and asked for all the details, then walked me through what he would do in my situation. Incredibly, even though his livelihood is asbestos mitigation, he recommended I leave it alone (he said since there was so little asbestos, and the insulation tape was in good enough shape, it'd actually be worse to try and remove it). He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable, and even though his advice meant that I wouldn't be hiring him, he has my recommendation for anyone who actually DOES have an asbestos problem.

"Dry Air responded immediately, did exactly what they said they would do (within the time-frame promised), and followed through to make sure work was complete. Employees are professional, friendly and careful not to create any more mess than is necessary when removing paneling, floor tiles and dry wall."

FAQs for indoor air quality testing projects in Lakeland, MN

You should test your home's air quality if you or your family experience health problems like allergies or respiratory issues, as these could be linked to indoor contaminants. Also, consider testing if you're concerned about mold, radon, carbon monoxide, or if you've recently had home construction, demolition, excavation, or remodeling that could have released chemicals into your indoor air.

An indoor air quality test typically takes one to three hours to complete. After the inspection, you'll receive a detailed written report within two to 10 days. The evaluation includes comprehensive air sampling from all designated areas in your home. Your specialist will review the findings with you and provide clear guidance on steps to take if any issues are found, helping ensure your indoor environment meets health and safety standards.

A certified indoor air quality consultant or inspector is the right professional to perform your indoor air test. While some home inspectors have certifications, they often subcontract this specialized work to trained professionals with advanced tools. This expert will thoroughly evaluate air samples from every area in your home and clearly explain the findings to you. Be sure to confirm your tester's credentials before scheduling your service.
