"I saw NAL East Environmental, read their Profile & was extremely impressed. Their Inspectors’ are Highly Educated Professionals. Words can’t describe how Grateful I am for Mark Stern & Joe Chairmonte. Testing was explained with Professionalism, Knowledge & Compassion. Mark is a Genuine Professional. He was Respectful & Kind as he explained and knew what should be tested. Joe was already set up. They were extremely thorough. After testing, Mark said, “Please call with any questions,” He was true to his word. After finding Acute Mold issues in Our Rental Home of 17+!years. Mark showed much care for Our well-being. It’s RARE to find a Co. with such Caring Inspectors w/High Moral Values, Yet, here they are!! I hired Mark & Joe again for Surface Testing. I’ve since referred Mark & Joe to Family. NAL East is The BEST! Thank you & Many Blessings to Mark & Joe. You are Amazing Assets to NAL Eastern & Our Community!! Jacqueline W., Yardley, PA"

"AMS is our HERO. The city sewer backed up and filled one third of our basement just before kickoff on Super Bowl Sunday. By halftime George had arrived. He calmly assessed the situation, and set up a time to return the following morning. His workers were polite, professional, and meticulous, and did an unbelievable job of cleaning up a horrible mess. By the end of the day the damaged items, sewage , and much of the smell was gone. Huge fans and a germ-killing ionizer ran for three days. When they were finished the floor was bone dry and absolutely clean. It occurred to us that the floor could not have been better cleaned if it were being prepped for painting. So we will be doing so. AMS has innate integrity and a wealth of knowledge across a wide spectrum. Any project can be entrusted to their competent hands. Chester and Jean Lehmann"

"They did a prompt professional job. I received the report in about 7 days. Mold was found in the air due to high humidity in the air. All of this seemed OK but then I was forwarded to the Biocide company that tried to get me to buy a DIY mold remediation kit. There a time pressure to buy the kit for the best price at $2400. They said the nature of the mold would require a hazardous work fee from any remediation company that would cost from $12,000 - 18,000. This is when I started questioning the service I received. My pulmonologist also looked at the test results & said the mold levels did not seem too bad. Also, the humidity readings on my house thermostat did not read the high level that the report stated. So, I do not know if there was any value with the service & I am not sure if I would recommend them. The only way to really find out would be to call in another testing company but I did not want to spend another $660. So, I had the remediation work done for $1900 & was satisfied."

"PLEASE READ if considering hiring this company: Legal action pending against 2 River Group I hired 2 Rivers Group to address and repair a roof leak in May of 2022. My home currently leaks more than prior to hiring this company. Erin, the project scheduler, will assist until she loses interest. At that time, she will not return phone calls or messages. Scott, the owner (As I understand it), will offer false reassurances of the groups interest in completing the job. Once he loses interest, he will no longer return calls or messages. Do not pay this company in advance. Once the job is thought to be complete, you will be ghosted, as I have, leaving me no other choice than to make every effort to ensure that no other hardworking homeowner succumbs the indifference of 2 River Group. No matter how many photos I provide of the continued leak, and the damage as a result, I will not receive a reply. Your contract describes a 2 year guarantee. This is not true. 2 River will not stand behind this clause, necessitating a lawsuit. The 2 Rivers Group has failed to provide completion of a project that will now cost much more than anticipated due to a failure to identify leaks. The blithe and disinterested dismissal of my requests to move forward with a resolution have now resulted in extensive destruction of the interior of my home. As a result, we are now four months beyond the supposed completion of the job, and the leak is worse than ever. We are more than 3 months since I made your company aware of the failure. The details of my communications and hope that 2 River would complete the job. Briefly recapping the events of the last 6 months 6/9/22 - Final Payment made for supposed completion of work to include Fiberglass Decking and Roofing Surfaces for interior leak. 6/27/22- Homeowner makes 2 Rivers aware that the leak repair did not work, showing video of pooling water in plastic covering in bathroom. Homeowner does not hear a response for 3 days. After hearing back, evaluation with a leak test is planned. 7/21/22- Leak test performed revealing several other sites of leak including suspected leaks at fencing and among flashing between siding. 7/26/22 - Discussion completed with Scott, who ensures that we will not be quote, left hanging, and that work will be coordinated by 2 Rivers Group. Last call made to Erin on 8/8/22 @ 11:48 AM EST- No return call is ever received. Emails sent 7/22, 8/5, and 9/6. No reply received any email. Text messages are sent to Erin on 8/5 and 8/8. No reply to either message. Homeowner gives up on contact with Erin. Last call made to Scott on 8/24/22 @ 10:20 AM EST- No return call is ever received. Text messages sent to Scott on 9/6/22 pleading for a reply, who confirms that a third party roofer will be going out with 2 Rivers construction manager. Site visit completed on 9/9/22. Neither construction manager, Scott, Erin, roofing consult, or anyone else from 2 Rivers attempts to make any contact with the homeowner to discuss invoice, damage, or plan. Text message sent to Scott on Wednesday September 28 asking for update. No reply. Text message sent to Scott on Friday September 30 asking for update. Again, no reply. Homeowner calls family to help with leak that now involves multiple rooms, hallway, and will require daily evaluation to prevent additional destruction. Pans placed, towels placed."

FAQs for indoor air quality testing projects in Long Branch, NJ

You should test your home's air quality if you or your family experience health problems like allergies or respiratory issues, as these could be linked to indoor contaminants. Also, consider testing if you're concerned about mold, radon, carbon monoxide, or if you've recently had home construction, demolition, excavation, or remodeling that could have released chemicals into your indoor air.

An indoor air quality test typically takes one to three hours to complete. After the inspection, you'll receive a detailed written report within two to 10 days. The evaluation includes comprehensive air sampling from all designated areas in your home. Your specialist will review the findings with you and provide clear guidance on steps to take if any issues are found, helping ensure your indoor environment meets health and safety standards.

A certified indoor air quality consultant or inspector is the right professional to perform your indoor air test. While some home inspectors have certifications, they often subcontract this specialized work to trained professionals with advanced tools. This expert will thoroughly evaluate air samples from every area in your home and clearly explain the findings to you. Be sure to confirm your tester's credentials before scheduling your service.
