On Tuesday afternoon, I talked to Will in Customer Service; he provided me with a fair quote ($1400) and scheduled my installation for Thursday morning. Marcus and Roberto were on-time and pleasant with their interactions with me. This is my first time buying a Bradford White unit; in the past, I used Rheem water heaters with great success. I will use Sila again (as long as the price is fair)."

After another team had come out and been unable to identify the source of the leak, Nabil (from the HVAC side of the business) was able to correctly diagnose the leak source as the humidifier within about 10 seconds of entering the mechanical closet. Nabil and his assistant corrected all the associated problems within 45 minutes. Both Nabil and his assistant did an EXCELLENT job and brought us some much-needed peace of mind."

"Furnace was not operating because the company's automatic delivery system ran me out of oil. <br /> Technician showed up promptly and got the furnace operating but could not get heat into the house. Had to reschedule to have zone valves replaced. Technician show up late and didn't have the required parts. Had to reschedule again. <br /> The third technician showed up on time with all the correct parts and worked most of the day to get the system operating properly. <br /> He was completely knowledgeable and very conciencious that everything was working correctly. <br /> <br />"

"Overall, very well, although it took two additional visits to first troubleshoot and then adjust the original installation of the new pump. Originally the new pump was installed with a temperature-controlled on/off switch but it turned out that that was not workable for the configuration of my plumbing. Therefore, a programmable timer had to be installed instead. This was very straightforward, simply a matter of swapping out the temperature module wired to the pump with a timer module and replacing the thermal check valve under the farthest sink left over from the non-working pump with a new one."

"Everything went well!  They did accidentally bring the wrong equipment at first because of a paperwork mixup at the home office, but they corrected it quickly and even upgraded my outdoor heat pump unit as compensation for the mistake.  That did cause them to have to drive to the Lennox distribution center and back, setting the install completion back a couple of hours.  I guess for that I have to knock them on "quality". <br /> But other than that, everything went smoothly.  They were professional and courteous.  They also called back the next day to check on everything and make sure that everything was satisfactory and to apologize for the mixup. <br /> Thanks, Modern Mech! <br />"
