"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

Everything went very well.  They showed up on time and completed the work in the time frame that was originally scheduled.  They took away all of the old equipment and cleaned up after themselves very well.

The new units work perfectly and are very quiet.  We can hardly tell they are operating unless we listen closely.

It does seem like our house is now cooled and heated more evenly than before.  The heating part may be due to the humidifier making it feel warmer in the house with the same or even lower heat setting.  It may also be due to the variable speed blower that ramps up during the heating/cooling process.

I also like the versatility of the new programmable thermostat.  You can pretty much choose any heaing/cooling profile you want.

The only reason I gave them a "B" for price is because the price seemed somewhat high to us.  But, they came highly recommended by a close friend who also had a similar system installed by them.  That was the reason we decided to go with them.  We thought that our chances of being "happier" with the end product was probably worth the slightly higher price tag.

I didn't review sooner because I wanted to have time to experience the units in operation during both cooling and heating seasons.

"I had an old water heater (was in the house when I moved in about 20 years ago) and it started to leak. After shutting off the water to the water heater, I did a little Angie's List research to find a company to do the replacement. I called a couple and decided to use Randy Lane, based on cost and my interaction with them, which I felt was cordial and helpful, and made an appointment.
The service person arrived on time on the day of the appointment and went to work. He disconnected the old heater and hauled it out. The new heater was brought in and he did the needed plumbing work to connect the water and also made the natural gas connections. He fired up the unit and briefed me on the new unit - how to turn-off the water and gas, if needed, temperature, etc.
The area was left in the same condition as when he arrived.

I loved that he could come out as soon as I needed and the earliest available appointment.  He was prompt, professional and got right to work assessing my sump pump and drainage around the house etc.  He also took the time to lay out my options for a battery backup and work to potentially re-route my drain pipe to the other side of the house and bury it to feed out to the forest vs right next to the house.  I felt way more informed that I had previously been.  He was able to complete the work quickly, efficiently, cleanly well under an hour.  Also, while he was there I asked if he could take a look at my furnace, I could not figure out how to replace the filter and he was able to show me right away.  I greatly appreciated this because I was really perplexed by this matter!!!   I found out My Service Pro does a variety of work and repair and I was happy to keep his information for future use.  I would definitely use My Service Pro again and recommend this company to my neighbors and friends.
