"We had been pricing siding replacement for the last two years, and the best price we received was from Jacob's Ladder. We had previously replaced numerous boards fiber boards at the foundation all around and splash areas around our front and back porches ourselves over the last 15 years, but the west side was only saved by an exceptional paint job about 9 years ago by another Angie's List A rated painter. Following a screened porch enclosure and kitchen remodel by another Angie's list A rated contractor this summer, we decided to replace the west side and north side where the remodel occurred, and got an updated quote from Jacob's Ladder. They shored up the structure and leveled it and replaced the wood posts with brick columns. Reid worked with us on the best price solution to do the columns in brick as opposed to less attractive solutions. He kept us informed throughout the entire process.
