"The biggest obstacle was scheduling.  The Angie's List confirmation email did not include the instruction to schedule on the Flow-Rite web site.  It took 3 or 4 emails to clarify that which delayed getting the work scheduled. 
The replacement parts worked fine with the exception of some excess plastic on the valve which prevented a tight seal and thus lead to a running toilet.  It took a few minutes with the razor blade to cut the excess off and allowed the seal to form properly.  This probably should have been done by the installer.

He also asked how many registers and returns I have so he was able to give me an exact estimate that held true to what the final cost was. The technicians on the job were Caleb, Jason, and Will. "Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. "I was advised by another HVAC service company that I needed to replace the condenser motor and fan on our cooling system. I was provided an estimate in excess of $1,000. So, I opted for a second opinion. I contacted Kirk Wiesman at New Climate. Kirk evaluated the unit that same day and stated that it is difficult to predict when the motor may fail. With young children in my home, I prefer to error on the side of caution and wanted the motor replaced if I could afford to do so. Kirk stated that the fan was fine and did not need to be replaced. As promised, Kirk provided later that same day an estimate to replace the motor ($393). We agreed upon a date and time for the work to be completed. Kirk showed up on time and installed a direct replacement (original equipment) motor.  Kirk explained the charges, which matched the estimate.  Kirk also explained the warranty on this work."

"A&D Specialty Services is amazing! Doug, Dougie & Mike are our family now. We had original water damage upstairs that effected a huge area. They came the same day I called and setup everything to get us dried out. Their build back for that damage is amazing! It looks like we have a whole new house. Less than a week after we had original water damage our water heater expansion tank broke. So our water heater exploded (adding insult to injury). I called Dougie at like 2am and he got up, got his equipment and came to our house at 5 o'clock in the morning to come take care of the issue. He installed a new water heater took out the old water heater, and got everything squared away to dry out the basement. I refer them to everyone I know! They are always professional, very reliable and treat you like family. I will always go to them first for any service they can provide. Thank you for all you guys have done and continue to do!!!!"

"We got estimates from 3 providers, and went with Comfort Solutions because their offer was good, and they were also someone we had been dealing with for years. They installed a Lennox furnace (EL296UHV-090) and Lennox Central Air unit (XC14-036) with associated coil along with all associated work (ductwork, remounting humidifier, installing new thermostat, and removal of old units) as scheduled without any problems. The two installers were friendly and hard working, spending a long day installing both units. (The only thing they forgot was a winter cover for the AC they said they'd provide, but they promised to bring it out with the Fall maintenance check).
We haven't used the furnace yet this summer other than the initial testing after installation, but the AC has been working just fine. I'm amazed how quiet the new AC unit is; you can carry on a conversation standing beside it while it runs without raising your voice.
Additionally, I'd like to commend Comfort Solutions for letting me know about an energy improvement rebate as a Duke Energy customer. Because of the improved energy efficiency of the new units, they did all the paperwork to apply for the rebate with Duke, and we got a $200 check a couple weeks later. Thanks for the great work!
