Rich was prompt, friendly and professional. He was straight with me and honest. 

Another HVAC company told me I had to install pumps to each unit (I have 3) to help the flow of water (a total of $600). Rich explained to me that all that was needed were some "T" pvc for venting ($0.39 each) that he had on hand. Since it was a quick task, he put them in for free.

He gave me a price that was $1,200 LESS than another estimate.

On the work
He called the day before letting me know the weather looked bad on the day of the install - depending on the weather, he might have to do it the following day. I really appreciated that notice given I have tenants. It was very professional.

When the weather was better, he showed up- as promised - and he kept in communication with me.

A few hours after he left it wasn't cooling the apt. We chatted by text even though it was late. He came out the next day without complaint and fixed the problem. All the while keeping me informed.

Overall
Although the install was a bit bumpy, he never complained, was considerate, easy to work with and treated me very well.

He has earned a customer for life.

"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.
I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services.

Bee windows had replaced the windows in my home a number of years ago when my mother lived here.  One of the panes had a broken seal and had developed mold between the glass panes.  In September 2014 I called to report the broken seal and mold between the panes of glass and to request a replacement.  I was told it was under warranty and would entail only a trip fee and a glass fee. 

-I was told they would not be able to get someone out to measure the window until October 27, 2014.  I agreed.

-October 27, 2014 - Dan, the technician came and measured the window on the appointed date.  He stated it might be a few weeks before I heard from them about the replacement.  Charged me $87.50 for the trip fee, stating it would cover the delivery trip, too.

-On January 14, 2015 I called to inquire about the delay.  I spoke to Brittany who stated she was still waiting for confirmation from the vendor about when it could be shipped, She stated Amber would call me on Friday to set an installation date.  She stated:

1.  They had changed  vendors so they had a delay due to having to contact the old vendor and arrange for them to make the replacement window.

2.  Delay was due to vendor.

-On January 19, 2015 I called and emailed to inquire why they had not contacted me on Friday as they had promised.  I got a message stating that they would be unavailable until April.

-January 21 or 22, 2015 I received a call back stating the delay was due to the vendor and that they expect to be able to deliver the window on February 5, 2015.  Arrangements made for delivery on that date.

-Feb 5, 2015 - Delivery person found the dividers between the glass was tan, not the wood tone ordered. He stated it must be reordered. and that I would be called to arrange delivery of corrected pane.

-Feb 26, 2015 - Delivery had been scheduled for this date then I received a call from Amber stating they are unable to make the delivery today, Rescheduled deliver for Feb 28, 2015 and waived the remaining $30.00 glass fee.

-Feb 28, 2015 - Delivery made - FINALLY

DELAY OF 5 MONTHS FOR THIS RELATIVELY SIMPLE REPLACEMENT OF AN UNDER WARRANTY ITEM IS  UNACCEPTABLE

"New installation went well. I was a little upset that only 50% was covered being that the unit was 19 years old. I'm sure that parts for something that old would be hard to find. Replacement was recommended."
