"Could not ask for friendlier service techs! Due to my work was just completed yesterday, I would say as of right now, my water ð ¦ leak that was wasting 10 gallons of precious water every hour is fixed. It seems the biggest complaint on this company is the cost. It is very expensive. James did give a cost before the service. I will be honest and say this, as fast as the leak was found â located within 3 shovels of dirtâ No water had to be pumped. Too much mud, the pump would not work. I was expecting the price to be lowered. However it was not. I say this! My wasting water is fixed. ( hopefully) my mind is clear and I slept very good. If I or other customers are intentionally deceived in pricing, it will truly come back on the company. It always does. Sometimes a slow burn ð ¥ other times poof! Up in smoke. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."

Called first on  March 2nd.  Bruce said he would be there within an hour, and he was on time.  Gave me an estimate of 700.00 including the new heater.  told him I would call him back after I checked prices of others.  He was okay with that, so when I was done checking his install price was less than I could buy a quality water heater and install it.

I call him on the 3rd 

 and he said he would be there in the morning approx. 9am.  At 910am his truck arrived, and they went to work. he removed the busted unit and installed the new one, added a better shutoff valve and ensured everything was to 'code'.  When finished they did a through cleanup of the area,  including taking the old unit with them.  He went over the operation and safety features of the new unit.

workman were efficient, friendly and made the experience a pleasant one.  I would highly recommend them to anyone and most definitely use them again.

"Estimate was free and work detailed was around 1500-3000 depending on what we decided on for them to do.  They gave an initial estimate and I was ready to go with them, but then I tried to contact for work and they never responded to calls or returned phone calls."
