"The technician rinsed filters and cleaned the AC unit. He checked a part on the unit with a meter which indicated that the part powering the fan (Run Cap?)was receiving only half the required energy needed to operate properly, meaning the part was failing and needed replaced ( the part was covered by the warranty because we have a maintenance agreement) So happy Eric knows his job and is good at diagnostics. He retrieved and installed the new part. Crisis averted thanks to Eric H!!"

"Computer had been acting up for a while but I kept putting off getting it fixed.  After reading all the great reviews, I decided to give N.A.T.S. a call.  So glad I did.   Jim was able to resolve all my problems remotely - no drop off or pick up necessary - so convenient!  I feel like I have a brand new computer, it runs so well and FAST too.  I couldn't be happier and wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.  My only regret is that I didn't call him sooner.

"Some years ago, we had the drain pipe replaced that drains the back yard into a pipe in the basement, which then connects to the drain pipe to the city stormwater/sewer system.  Ever since, water has come in directly around the pipe during heavy or persistent, soaking rain.  Plumbers had confirmed there was no leak in the pipes, and concrete contractors had stated that the concrete in the back yard and basement looked good.  Rightway proposed to excavate the concrete back yard around the drain pipe, seal the area around the pipe with hydraulic cement with tar and plastic coatings, backfill, and replace the concrete yard surface.  All of this was done within a day, working in tight quarters.  The crew was friendly and courteous.  They had to buy extra cement to fill areas that had washed away under the pipe.  The finished concrete looks nice.  Then we waited for the rain.
A heavy rain fell about a month later, and unfortunately the repair did not solve the problem.  Rightway returned to investigate, and we were all mystified.  It was unclear whether further repairs to the wall, beyond rebuilding, would have fixed the problem.  Rightway offered, under its warranty, to install a drain and sump pump in this corner of the basement floor to catch and dispose of the water that enters the basement at this location.  Again, all work was done in less than a day, working in tight quarters in the basement, working around the hot water heater, appliances, and electrical meter and ground.  This new crew was again courteous, and hung plastic to keep concrete dust from wafting up the stairs when they broke up the basement floor.  While it doesn't stop the water from coming in, it no longer floods the back of my basement.  All storms since have been well contained in the sump pit, and the basement remains dry.
All Rightway employees, from salesman to crew to office staff, were courteous, responsive, and answered my many questions with patience.

"R C Heating & Air Conditioning Servicemen arrived on time on a 90 plus degree
day, removed the old system and installed the new system. They were so
quiet and cleaned up so thoroughly that I wouldn't have realized they
were here without seeing the new air conditioning system and reaping the
cool benefit. I would highly recommend R C Heating & Air Conditioning,
especially the owner Rich Crivaro, who was on site to make sure the job
went smoothly.

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"It went fine.  I had one situation where they put vent on the top of the roof but on backwards and they replaced it. Overall, they did a good job cleaning it but that was a little reckless, I thought, a little careless. They did a good job cleaning the lint out but the only problem I had was the way they put the vent back on. "

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

FAQs for swamp cooler installation and replacement projects in Millville, NJ

Swamp coolers are quite energy-efficient, using only 15% to 35% of the electricity that traditional central air conditioning units consume. This can lead to significant savings on your energy bills. However, keep in mind that swamp coolers require water to operate and may not cool your home as effectively in extremely hot or humid conditions. When considering overall efficiency, it is essential to weigh both electricity and water usage, as well as the cooling needs specific to your local climate.

Evaporative coolers only work in dry climates because they cool by moistening the air. If the air is already moist, this will have little to no cooling effect. Central AC is a better choice if you live in a humid climate, such as the Midwest, eastern, or western coastal regions.

To install a swamp cooler on a roof, a local HVAC specialist will first find and cut a spot free of wiring and obstructions. They’ll then install metal bracing, legs, brackets, the ceiling duct register, ductwork, power, and thermostat wires. Once installed, they’ll seal all openings, attach duct connections, and install a thermostat. Before leaving, they’ll run cool water piping to the unit and inspect all the connections.

The cost to repair your swamp cooler ranges from $50 to $600, depending on the issue, whether new parts are needed, and the chosen repair service. Depending on the type of pad your system uses, you will need to change out the pads every one to three years for proper operation. When budgeting for the cost to repair a window unit, expect to pay around $230.

The U.S. Department of Energy states that swamp coolers can cool a single room by five to 15 degrees Fahrenheit. However, this largely depends on the size and installation method of the evaporative cooler. You can only achieve these results in a dry climate, such as the American South, as it’s easier to cool rooms in humid environments with central air.

Swamp cooler water usage varies depending on the size of the unit. Smaller evaporative units may use one gallon per hour, while much larger units could use up to 15 gallons of water per hour. Most homeowners can expect their unit to use between seven and 10 gallons of water per hour of usage.
