"Excellent ! This was a high quality team of professionals, from the first person we met to the last quality control inspector. Our air conditioning removal and replacement was handled by at least a dozen different people from Bradham Brothers. They found solutions to the problems we asked them and never pressured me to sell us something we didn't need or want. We had asked them originally to replace our furnace and a/c unit and use the existing ducts. After they had removed the old equipment, I was down in the basement asking questions about cleaning my ducts. They showed me how flimsy and worn out the ducts were and my wife and I decided to replace everything. They requoted a new price for the additional work which was fair. This was completely our decision. We are Very Satisfied ! When the county building inspector came by to inspect the installation he told us he never has to worry about Bradham Brothers work. "They are a top of the line company and they really know the building codes". He said, "They made his job so much easier". They were not the cheapest company we found nor the most expensive but, clearly they are one of the best !"

"The owner, Chad Adams, came out to provide me an estimate.  He fully reviewed my options, the costs, and the details of each option.  There was no pressure, just informative.  Great guy.
I decided on 7/22 to get one of the options and told Chad.  He scheduled me same day, which was a pleasant surprise.
The team arrived about 10 and were fully completed around 3.  The installation went well, they cleaned up fully and we'd never know they were there.    The new system is great.
Overall great experience, and I will continue to use American Air for my system.

"Reggie did a superior job installing the new valve within two hours. He appreciated the fact that I had opened the wall for him (doing the grunt work), and saved him time on that--- although he does this quite routinely when there is no access panel. I feel that the price was on the high side ($400) for only two hours of labor. I did discuss this with the office manager subsequently, and she graciously made on adjustment given that I performed all of the prep work. It is important to note that this company Automatically charges a $79 estimate fee whether you do the work or not, and this is NOT subtracted from the job price. Secondly, this company does Not charge by the hour, but has an established fee for each type of plumbing job. This being said, I would work with this company again. Again, I was pleased with the work that Reggie performed."

"Mr. Ferrell came to my home and picked up my dinosaur of a computer...a 2005 Dell Desktop.  For all intents and purposes, it was barely running.  If I was lucky, I was able to check my gmail and sometimes send a response.  Mr. Ferrell picked up my computer on his DAY OFF (Friday) and returned it to me on LABOR DAY.  He said that my computer had over 7,000 viruses on it. It was the most he had ever seen!  What I got back from him on Labor Day was the computer I purchased in 2005, but much better.
Mr. Ferrell installed an ENTIRE new operating system, he upgraded my ram, he re-installed his FREE virus protection.  Mr. Ferrell backed and restored ALL of my data.  And, if that was not enough, he updated my hardware system. And, he charged me $125 which I think is an incredible price due to the fact he gave me a BRAND NEW COMPUTER.
Mr. Ferrell is extremely professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient with his time and your money.  I just started using my new computer this week and I am in heaven.  No more viruses...no more waiting 10 minutes to pull up a website...and no more having to pull out all of my cords out of my modem and rebooting my computer.  I am thrilled with the job that Mr. Ferrell did and I would recommend him to anyone.

"That went well and we spent some more money with them, about $7,000, since they had to put down the water vapor. They had to replace some of the venting in the crawlspace that was damaged. They also had to install a sub pump. They also had to do a mold treatment. They had to divide the process up and it took a total of about 5-7 days. They were very consistent with updating me with that was going on. They were quick to respond with any concerns and the workers that came out and did the work, were very professional."

"John was on time. He quoted me a price, and stuck to it even though it took him an extra 2 hours. No add ons or bait and switch. John has fixed prices so you know what you are getting. Showed us pictures of before and after. John owns his own company, so you know who is going to do the work. Do not fall for a lower price, then have to pay for extras. A+ service. Bobby Cain. Call me if questions. 704 366-5875."

FAQs for swamp cooler installation and replacement projects in Mineral Springs, NC

Swamp coolers are quite energy-efficient, using only 15% to 35% of the electricity that traditional central air conditioning units consume. This can lead to significant savings on your energy bills. However, keep in mind that swamp coolers require water to operate and may not cool your home as effectively in extremely hot or humid conditions. When considering overall efficiency, it is essential to weigh both electricity and water usage, as well as the cooling needs specific to your local climate.

Evaporative coolers only work in dry climates because they cool by moistening the air. If the air is already moist, this will have little to no cooling effect. Central AC is a better choice if you live in a humid climate, such as the Midwest, eastern, or western coastal regions.

To install a swamp cooler on a roof, a local HVAC specialist will first find and cut a spot free of wiring and obstructions. They’ll then install metal bracing, legs, brackets, the ceiling duct register, ductwork, power, and thermostat wires. Once installed, they’ll seal all openings, attach duct connections, and install a thermostat. Before leaving, they’ll run cool water piping to the unit and inspect all the connections.

The cost to repair your swamp cooler ranges from $50 to $600, depending on the issue, whether new parts are needed, and the chosen repair service. Depending on the type of pad your system uses, you will need to change out the pads every one to three years for proper operation. When budgeting for the cost to repair a window unit, expect to pay around $230.

The U.S. Department of Energy states that swamp coolers can cool a single room by five to 15 degrees Fahrenheit. However, this largely depends on the size and installation method of the evaporative cooler. You can only achieve these results in a dry climate, such as the American South, as it’s easier to cool rooms in humid environments with central air.

Swamp cooler water usage varies depending on the size of the unit. Smaller evaporative units may use one gallon per hour, while much larger units could use up to 15 gallons of water per hour. Most homeowners can expect their unit to use between seven and 10 gallons of water per hour of usage.
