"We had separate water heater and furnace boiler which was leaking gas and carbon monoxide and had to be turned off by Atmos Gas. We chose VIP Plumbing and James Cook responded with Robert to rescue us. They assessed the job gave a bid and ordered a new Navien Combo-Boiler faster than we had any hope to get heat again! They were very professional in all regards. James told me to keep his card handy and I did the next day we had a major drain clog in our 50 year old pipes! He came out and cleared our drains perfectly and even took high def pictures so we could see there was NO roots coming through! We really can't say enough about VIP Plumbing and they left NO mess! Fifty years of soot in our furnace was UGLY! We now have on demand hot water (no running out) and the whole house is warm again! They are pet friendly as well! We highly recommend their services!"

Choice Home Warranty denied the claim after several years of being a loyal customer, making payments on- time every month. What is the use of having this warranty for times as this and when you need them, they denied the claim? Although the service was good, response time adequate, providing the services needed when your appliance break down and being denied repairs was disappointing and devastating, especially when coronavirus is rampant and you really need your hot water to wash clothes, dishes, bath, shower, and remain sanitary. I am so heart broken because I live on a fixed income and am disable, and can’t afford to purchase a hot water heater at this time. They determined that the water heater was not operating properly as a result of a lack of effective maintenance of the unit. What a crock!"

"My old water heater went out yesterday and of course leaked water all over. I shut it off and stopped the leaking. Called early this morning looking for someone to install a new one. Jim was actually sent over by another plumber who could not get to my job right away. Jim showed up, looked at the job, we talked about the options and he gave me a bid. Let to get the new water heater. We back in about thirty minutes. He had to make some changes to the water and gas lines. Added shut offs and installed new one. Took the time to explain operation and maintenance of the new one. Cleaned up the work site. Removed all debris and old water heater. I was impressed with his work and his attitude.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Went well as could be expected, needed a part and ordered, when part came in found out we needed another part which delayed fixing our heat for almost a week in total, but having a carrier unit and not having parts in town is what made it difficult, not A+ plumbing and heating.
