"We love Roy Rogers! You never think of it until your heat or A/C is out, but glad to have them service our house for both. They came out today within hours of my call on one of the coldest days of the year. Thanks, Roy!"

"Contacted Hope Plumbing on a Monday morning and they were able to provide the estimate and installation the same day. Ryan was friendly and professional. Our water heater was under warranty so he was able to pick up a replacement using the authorization code from the water heater company. GmWe are glad to have hot water again!"

"I was highly pleased with Jim's work. He not only accomplished everything on my list, but he made several suggestions on several
issues that added further performance improvements.
Jim's response time from my original call was excellent. He is very easy to work with, communicates well and is very customer-oriented.

The amount he charged me for the work done and considering the time spent traveling to my house, doing the work and answering my questions and giving me advice was very reasonable.
I highly recommend Jim for computer installation, network issues,  problem resolution and performance improvement. I will definitely call him in the future for any new issues I have.

"Our air conditioning went out this morning about 5 o'clock. I woke up very hot and I called summers. Before 9:30, they were out here in about 15 minutes. They also fixed our furnace this winter, and they are great for services. They charged us $49 for the furnace part the part was $166. Since they fixed the furnace in the winter and you're in our database, you'll be receiving a decent price for a service call. So, I guess they will charge us just $49 for a service call. The guy that came out, his name was Connie and he's the one that fixed the furnace. We had another company come three times and try to fix that furnace for us this winter. He walked in the backdoor, and stood in front of the furnace and said it needed whatever it was that it needed. He put it in, and it worked perfectly ever since. We were really unhappy with the other company. He walked in and fixed it. We couldn't ask for anything more. We've already used them twice. We used them for our furnace and for our air conditioner."

FAQs for central humidifier installation and replacement projects in Mooreland, IN

A crawl space dehumidifier is a worthwhile investment, particularly in humid climates or if you've noticed musty odors, mold growth, or wood deterioration. Though costs range from $3,000 to $9,200, this investment helps prevent structural damage that could require far more expensive repairs later. Beyond structural protection, a properly dehumidified crawl space contributes to better overall indoor air quality and may reduce allergens throughout your home. Consider having a professional assessment to determine if your specific situation warrants this investment.

Addressing crawl space moisture effectively often requires a combination of solutions. A complete approach includes encapsulation plus dehumidifier installation. For minor moisture issues, a basic dehumidifier starting at $1,500 may suffice, while severe problems in larger spaces could require systems costing up to $14,000. The most effective moisture control strategy depends on your specific conditions, making a professional assessment valuable for determining the most cost-effective approach for your situation.

For a crawl space measuring 1,500 square feet, you'll need a dehumidifier with a daily capacity of 30 to 50 pints, with unit costs ranging from $150 to $600. Your local climate and existing moisture levels may necessitate adjusting this capacity—homes in particularly humid regions might benefit from higher-capacity units. Professional installers can measure your specific humidity conditions and recommend equipment that is appropriately sized, balancing initial cost with operating efficiency for your unique situation.

Crawl space dehumidifiers add $300 to $500 to your annual electricity expenses when operating continuously. Energy-efficient models reduce this consumption by roughly 15 to 30% compared to standard units. Most contemporary dehumidifiers feature humidity sensors that automatically cycle operation based on current conditions, helping manage energy usage. Proper crawl space encapsulation significantly improves efficiency by creating a controlled environment that requires less dehumidifier runtime, thereby reducing ongoing electricity costs.
