"We hired Air-Tech to replace all the old ductwork in our home and install a new furnace and A/C unit. They did a great job. Alex Fish was extremely responsive to all of our questions, from start to finish. He was great at explaining all of the options, and the pro's and con's of each, before we signed up. He also stopped by several times during the installation, which lasted 4-5 days. The two technicians who did the work were extremely professional, tidy, polite, etc. They wore face masks at all times and even took a long break one day when we asked them to because we needed silence for an important Zoom meeting. All in all, Air-Tech is a highly professional outfit. While it's only been a few weeks since the installation, everything is working as it should and we are very happy with the outcome. "We've used UMC before, and been very happy with the service and work done once by Yurik himself and once by one of his crew.  But this time he really went above and beyond:  Our A/C stopped working this Sunday on a day where the outdoor temps were hitting 104 in the shade.    We called UMC and my wife asked for Yurik specifically to call back, since she had really liked him on the earlier visit.  
Soon after Yurik called back and diagnosed the problem over the phone:  We had installed a thick hypo-allergenic filter in our A/C that was severely restricting air flow.   Yurik had us go out and confirm this by locating a outdoor pipe leading to the compressor and seeing that it was frozen solid, as he predicted.    Yurik had us remove the filter and shut down the system for an hour until the pipe unfroze.   He then had us call him back on his cell and instructed us on checking the motor and worked with us on three attempts to restart the aging motor, which was refusing to restart.  With his help we were finally able to get the motor, and with it our A/C going again. 
Instead of a costly service call following a sweltering night,  Yurik was able to fix our A/C by phone for no charge the same day it failed.   Obviously we're big fans of UMC.

"They did a job that another air conditioning company said they couldn't do, sold me a steam humidifier that didn't work, then decided that it could be done, but refused to reimburse me for the humidifier that they couldn't get to work. Canoga Park air conditioning installed a Carrier steam humidifier - the brand that the other company clamed wouldn't work and did a perfect job! In the process of doing the installation, their technician discovered that the water supply wasn't functioning. No wonder the other company couldn't get their humidifier to work!"
