"Dan came first thing this morning and found our air conditioner capacitor needed to be replaced. He informed me it was still under warranty and he needed to go get a replacement. He was back with a new capacitor very quickly and had it repaired in a matter of minutes. I was pleasantly surprised there was not even a service or labor charge. We have used this company for almost 10 years now, and their work has always been top-notch. Dan and Zac are the very best technicians with whom we've ever dealt. Besides their most excellent service, I have never dealt with any service related company who has higher standards. Their extreme honesty and work ethic are beyond compare. Every person with whom we've dealt or spoken in the company are friendly, courteous and professional. They are truly the best in the business!!!!"

"Prior to calling Bob, we had several guys come in to give us estimates. Bob's estimate was by far the best and the work he did was top quality. He and his guys moved my existing furnace to a new location int he basement and installed a new AC. They also moved the hot water heater. I am very pleased with his service. They were prefessional and respectful. Bob is a straight shooter. Absolutely no BS! I will be using him for ALL of my future HVAC needs. "I've had One Hour out for new furnace/AC as well as a new humidifier and am a member of their annual service plan. My Furnace & AC install went very smoothly and the service was outstanding. My old ECM blower died. They were kind enough to loan me one during the heat of the summer between the diagnosis and the new install at no additional cost. They use Amana units (which unlike other vendors in KC, anyone is allowed to service them). The new unit works great. My old humidifier died not long after (both solenoid and saddle valve broke) and they came out within a day to replace it. Noticed some problems with the new unit after they had left, and they were out within 3 hours of me calling to fix it. Their service is bar-none - techs are very polite, clean, and do a great job. Highly recommend!"

We needed work done on an older home that needed specific things done to improve the efficiency of the heating/cooling system. Not only has our comfort increased tenfold, but our utility bills have decreased substantially. "While having my siding removed and replaced, decided to insulate the exterior walls. They coordinated with the painter and checked the weather for when the project could be done. Also, the estimate was given several months in advance and was still honored once the project got going. They needed to come out twice to install the insulation because the siding took time to come off the house, but they were more than willing to work with the painter's schedule to make sure things got done in a timely fashion. Friendly folks who take time to answer questions and did excellent work getting the house insulated and now operating efficiently."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"Tap Heating and Cooling came while I was at work and my wife was home taking care of our newborn.  The technician, Jeff, was very polite and very quiet as well (as we had a newborn sleeping) which I found to be amazingly courteous.  He performed the cleaning and inspection of our furnace very quickly and efficiently.  When Jeff was finished, he let my wife know the the circuit board was mounted improperly, but that he went ahead and took care of it as it was a very simple fix.  As well, a filter was included in this service.  I had recently replaced our filter (not realizing I was going to take advantage of this awesome Angie's List deal) and he let my wife know that the filter was still good and that he left a new one next to the furnace for next time.  We recently moved here, but Tap Heating and Cooling is for sure my go-to in the area from now on as they showed nothing but professionalism, honesty, and courteousness while in my home.  Thanks Jeff and Tap Heating and Cooling, I'll see you in summer for my A/C tune up!
