"It is hard to believe there is a group of people who are concerned with performing a high quality job can still be found, but everyone associated with ServPro of Chesapeake is just that. Another company on the other hand, was slipshod and hurried to get off the site with pay. My insurance company listened to our concerns and then sent Chesapeake to finish the work. Air Duct Cleaners of Virginia, a subsidiary of Servpro Chesapeake, saw to it that ducts that were laying on the ground caused by broken hangers, were properly re-hung. When we sensed a problem, Steve quickly came to house to see if they did anything wrong. No Cost - just concern on there part. He verified no problem with his moisture meter; discoloration was a flaw in the veneer paneling. I highly recommend you let Servpro of Chesapeake perform total re-work and act as contractor. I am only estimating the cost, because my insurance company paid them."

"The brick foundation had settled at a corner of my house causing mortar to break and a few bricks were broken.  The crack was about 3/4 inch wide.  Five holes were dug about 2 feet deep and jacks were installed to jack the brick siding back  in place.  Once the brick siding was in place cement was injected to hold the brick in place.  The broken bricks were replaced. The lintel over the garage door, door and window were replaced.  The mortar that was damaged on the house was removed and re-pointed.  The Hipp Masonry crew were polite.  They did excellent work.  The crew cleaned up at the end of each day and after the job was completed.

"He came over on a Tuesday night, 02/16/2010, handed me the quote, we accepted and texted him the ?OK? and we scheduled for him to arrive at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. He and his assistant had the old wallpaper completely stripped out in an hour and the dents and holes spackled and dried an hour later. When I walked in the door about noon, he and his partner were on their hands and knees on the floor meticulously cleaning up the wallpaper scrapings, moisture, and trash, and wiping up any residue left by the patching. They spent the next few hours carefully painting the ceilings, walls, and the windowsill trim, including moving the stove and refrigerator to paint behind those appliances. When they left about 4:00, there was not one drop, one spill, or improperly painted surface. The color was rich, they left behind the remaining paint for future touch-ups, and they caulked the kitchen counter and windowsill to make a perfect finish for the job.
