"Aire Service was hired to provide an evaluate whether we needed a new air conditioning unit. If we did need one we wanted a written estimate of how much it would cost to have the company install the Trane brand unit for us. The technician arrived in a timely manner with dust covers for his shoes. He thoroughly inspected both air conditioner units as well as our furnace. He also took photos of each part that he checked out on his cell phone. When he was done he explained everything that he had done and discussed his photographs. He recommended that one unit be replaced. He said that he would send his recommendations by email which he did. I asked him to include the installation of the Trane air conditioner in his recommendation a number of times. He did not do this."

"This is a difficult one to write because, in the end, I think the actual work done was completed very well and professionally. We had a tankless water heater installed to replace our aging tank. The problem i have is with their business practices and lack of effective/accurate communication. A two-day job stretched to a week+ due to workers leaving early every day for one reason or another. Admittedly, one of the days was understandable due to a family emergency and I absolutely cannot begrudge somebody leaving early to attend to their child. That’s just being a good dad. The job completed on a Friday and I was repeatedly assured that an county inspector & Pure Plumbing employee would be arrive early Tuesday (Monday was Memorial Day) to close the job. Nobody ever showed up and I was told nothing. I came to learn that Pure Plumbing plays some shady games when it comes to permitting a project. They (illegally) do the work without pulling permits. Then, after it is done, they submit drawings of the completed work to get an after-the-fact permit pulled. It’s only then that they request an inspection which happens a couple weeks after the fact. They also expect full payment before the work passes inspection. I tried to contact the owner of the company (Andrew Aranda) via phone and the email his office supplied in order to discuss/resolve the issue, but never heard a reply. Unpermitted work exposes the company and the homeowner to potential fines and long delays in completion. Even though I love the work they did and would love to use them again, I would hesitate because of legally questionable methods that cast a shady layer over the operation. Are there other hidden corners being cut? Their talented roster of tradesmen/women isn’t worth doing business with because legal games are being played with the county. I plan on contacting a Clark County agent to discuss this job and warn them of potential future dishonesty."

"The workers that installed the AC Units were very respectful and patient with me and answered all my questions.. There's was a problem with one Of the Units after a couple days ,,, I had an electrical short,, ( NOT GOOD) ... Technician had to come back to my home to do some repairs when I had company from out of town,,, very in convenient for me and my family & company .."

He not only bent over backwards to convince me that his company was the best choice in providing and installing my new AC unit but continued in overwatch to make sure that the job went exactly as what was promised and that I was completely satisfied which I am. I also want to commend both Caesar and Zach S for their technical efforts in making sure that the project went without a hitch. Along with the AC portion of the project, I was impressed by the plumbing side of their company who fulfilled the membership portion of plumbing tasks which were promised within the free 1 year membership which was included in the cost of the AC project. Due to the diligence of Ricky and the rest of the team, I will surely remain a paid member for years to come after the free one year has lapsed. "Chris' reputation for being trustworthy and honest makes him my #1 guy for air conditioning repairs. Over the years, his philosophy of doing everything he can to repair the unit (as opposed to other companies that are money hungry and assert that replacement is the only option) is the reason I seek out his opinion first whenever I have an air conditioning problem. He had to cancel on me on the originally scheduled afternoon appointment due to a longer than expected job he was doing. But I respect his reputation so much that I am willing to overlook this situation and simply wait the next morning when he was able to make it to my house. His expertise is extremely valuable to me even if I have to wait a little longer for him to stop by. What is important to me is that he gives a knowledgeable and honest diagnosis. In this case, my a/c unit was making a lot of unpleasant screeching and grinding noises. It almost sounded like metal rubbing on metal. So I turned off the a/c until Chris arrived. He was confidant that a replacement of the fan motor would fix the problem and prevent future problems. He was correct. I have not had any noises since getting the new fan motor and everything is fine. One thing that concerns me though is that with this particular Century brand fan motor, Chris' final installation resulted in the need to have two separate wires that protruded out the top grill and then back into the motor (see photo). They are safely away from the spinning fan, but I have never seen this before. It is a little concerning due to future exposure of the wires to extreme summer heat and the possibility that birds or rodents might be attracted to chew on them. I do have a one year warranty for the work. I just hope these exposed wires will stand up to the outdoor elements."

"I had issues with my heating/AC unit making banging noises when the heat kicked in. The unit was  over 30 years old and I feared it needed to be replaced. I contacted Ability (John) and we set up an appointment for a technician to come out. Sadly my fears were correct and the tech advised me that the banging noises were actually due to small explosions in my heater...kind of scary..
He gave me an estimate and I told him I didn't have the money at the time and would have to think about what to do. The tech advised me that since it was almost spring, the rates for heating units might go down in the near future, and stated he would call me if any specials came up.
True to their word, they did call me several times and we did end up coming to an agreement.
The techs came to my house at the agreed upon time, and were very polite, and proficient.
I am very happy with the service I received, and would definitely use this company again.
In addition, they have followed up by sending me letters with offers of specials on the services they provide.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs HVAC service.
