Another company I hired previously tried and failed to repair my furnace by replacing wrong parts. The guy from Goff was surprised about what the other guy thought was the problem, the Goff guy was much more knowledgeable, much more helpful, and Goff did everything exactly as I requested. I accepted some options that added to the price but I should have taken the humidifier option too, so if you do this, consider taking that option. Goff is the only company I would ever consider hiring in the South Bend - Mishawaka area."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

1) they showed up on time
2) installed working equipment
3) came back in the spring to finish connecting the a/c
The bad things:
1) Not once did they respond after the 1st call; it always took 2, 3, or more messages to get a response
2) Put the air filter in a spot where it's inaccessible. Already-existing vent pipes block access to the air filter, so I have to buy two half-sized filters and squeeze them in.
3) The owner called my husband "schnookums". Totally perplexing ... and completely unprofessional.
