"Mike was superb. The job required perseverance and Mike's never give up attitude paid off while working on my old house. The odyssey began when Mike tried to install the faucet I purchased. It did not fit. He went to a trade supple house in search of another that also did not fit. He was instrumental in getting the showroom to take the wrong one back, and recommended a helpful sales person who helped me buy an appropriate one. On the next visit we discovered that the holes were not drilled correctly, so the new faucet would not fit. Mike installed an inexpensive one for us to use until he could buy a special drill bit for cutting granite. Mike deftly enlarged the mounting hole, which was no small feat given the counter/sing/backsplash setup. He did so without damaging anything or creating a mess. He's also very personable and comfortable to be around and in the house. highly recommended."

"I had an incredible experience. My water heater was leaking and ready to let go. Brian had contacted me. He set up an appointment the next morning. The two gentleman ( plumbers ) came in. Removed the old water heater. Installed the New water heater. And updated the vent piping because it was old and out of code. They did a wonderful job. "When they called (after I assume HomeAdvisor contacted them), I was told it would cost $89 to come out to give me an estimate. I had no problem with that but tried to get some rough estimate on how much a straightforward replacement of faucet would cost - but no estimate. When the plumber arrived, he first tried to get me to join some membership in order to get some percentage reduction in the cost (but I still had no idea of that cost). Bottom line was that the cost was over $600 for one hour of work. I will add that the plumber did an excellent job so I have no issues with their work. It is more about how they charge for their work. Next time, I will either find someone that is willing to charge by the hour or is willing to provide free estimates."
