"The stormy spring weather caused a couple of delays in our start, and Art was good about communicating what was going on and when we would get going. Once the work commenced, the team worked quickly and completely. They rebuilt our small chimney and put a chimney cap on. We also had them tuck point our brick house and rebuild a decorative architectural detail on the front of the house. Art checked on the team’s work every day and addressed our concerns and questions right away. About a month after the main work was done and the mortar had finished curing, they came back to seal the brick. At that time, my husband showed Art a piece of stone that also needed replacing, and they did it right away, no additional fee. Art and his team were great to work with."

"A building inspection I had done on my lovely lannonstone home (built in 1939) suggested there might be structural or drain tile problems in the basement. Jeff scheduled a wuick appointment and honestly told me that the leakage could be solved by mudjacking portions of the driveway adjacent to the area of leakage, a much less experienced and messy solution. I very much appreciated his honesty and fair dealing. He also walked the entire perimeter of the house to evaluate the landscape grading and emailed me a written report of his visit the next day."

"I've worked with many contractors over the years and JJB is the best I've worked with for residential remodeling. That's no small statement. JJB is responsive, communicative, on-time and on-schedule, does not cut corners, always willing to tackle new issues or problems that arise during construction, respectful of neighbors / other tenants, and very fairly priced for the quality of work that they provide. We even had some city permitting issues from prior construction that JJB was able to take on and get cleared up. I can't express how much headache this saved me! "Excellent work taking out old cement between large stones on landing and steps and reapplying cement.  They also tuck pointed the whole stairway structure which is quite large.  They did this over three days, were on time and reliable.
