"I called for service and appointment was for the next day. Service person showed up on time. The problem was found (bad micro switch) and a zone valve motor/actuator was replaced. The whole process was completed in 30 minutes. They give senior citizens a discount. Yea! I would use them again for other problems or maintenance."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"The ac coil ( defective part) was still under warranty, but the labor to replace it was not. The service man was here for 4 l/2 hours (he could have used another technician to help him). The first problem was that he was giving the wrong part for my ac unit, so he had to take the part back to Harker and retrieve the correct part (took about 40 minutes). It was a cool day, so it was difficult to properly test the unit after the installation. The technician said it would be necessary to return on a warm day to properly test it. To date, that has not happened, and we have had temperatures in the 90's for a week now. When finally finished, the bill was $657. And this is after an initial "spring tune up" (two weeks prior) that cost $262. Outrageous! I didn't get a paper copy as the technician figured the bill on his computer. I wrote the company and asked for a paper copy, and got one, but again, nothing was detailed, and it just said the bill was $657."

"Awesome! We have never felt more comfortable and satisfied hiring a contractor! Brian came out within a day or two to look over the project, and then within another few days had a written quote! This was a huge project, and they handled it like no one else could. We interviewed 3 other companies and hands down, chose Arctic Air. Within a weeks time, they had removed 2- 250 gallon oil tanks, filled with oil mind you, took out the old oil furnace, replaced with a new gas furnace, and installed air conditioning! Not an easy task on a 125 year old home! Will definitely recommend to everyone!"

"I assumed this included dryer vent cleaning as well, but it seemed that the technician could not complete this portion of the cleaning or it was not included in the service - I couldn't figure out which he was trying to tell me, but the dryer vents did not get cleaned. I know this service is included in some other companies' services. The technician was prompt showing up at the beginning of the 2 hour window and was in and out in less than an hour. There was a small amount of debris left under almost all of the vents, but there is still debris falling out of my vents over a week later, so I am not sure how much the technician left there and how much just fell afterward. One of the pieces of equipment leaked water on my hardwood floors, but I put a towel underneath to catch it, so just watch out for that if you have this service done. For the vacuuming of the furnace and one return vent (as the technician said that the heat vents don't have much build up due to their function, which makes sense), the price seemed quite steep, especially after subsequently hearing advertisements for much lower prices that include the dryer vent as well."
