"Steve designed a new Combi-Boiler System to replace an old water heater set-up used for DHW and in-floor heat. This is a much more efficient system and the installation was very professional and aesthetically pleasing to boot. He also came up with a relay setup so the thermostat in place would send the proper signal to the combi unit. Well done!"

"This company has treated me well, especially Mike Museus, who worked over a year (last summer and this spring) to find out why there was a fluid leak in my new AC unit. The leak didn't affect the cooling of my home so I wasn't concerned, but Mike was persistent, even to returning finally with an "expert" to help diagnose the problem. What they found was that the A-coil above the furnace was full of tiny pinholes. On the day this was to be replaced, Steve came before 9 a.m. to remove the defective A-Coil and install the new one. He worked on it all day, without lunch or a break, leaving shortly after 5 p.m. There was no charge, as it was still under warranty. With all that, he still took the time to explain to me why the replacement was so important: that the defective A-Coil could eventually leak enough to damage the furnace below it. Because he was using solder, I believe, to install the new part, he turned on the ceiling fan in the adjacent room to mitigate the fumes. My only complaint is that a few of my vinyl floor tiles were damaged/discolored by the soldering process. That part of the flooring has had water damage before and is missing a few tiles so, after a day of hard work, he may have attributed the damage to work done before. It's not a big deal; I just wish he'd have said something. I have to hand it to Steve, though; he was working by himself, which frequently required him to leave the furnace area to check the outdoor AC unit, then rush back to the indoor work. I think it might have been a two-person job. At least, an assistant could have facilitated some of the work done."

Jim came over looked at my system and explained my options , took the computer to fix it , and then quickly returned it.Jim set up the computer in my office and made sure that everything worked correctly. "The owner of this company called me within an hour of my search on Home Advisor. He sent a 2 man crew to do our furnace inspection the following morning ! They were on time, very thorough and gave us a written report of each component they inspected and then spoke with us to go over everything. The price was very affordable . CB Mechanical saved us from the expensive of a new furnace as we had gotten it inspected by another company last spring. The other company told us we had visible cracks on the heat exchanger should replace the furnace right away, then gave us a quote for installing a new furnace. We had a feeling we were being scammed so put it off and then got this inspection done. The heat exchanger was fine!! "The last was a rental company that we have and we used them for an air conditioning and heating system. It was Bototach Mechanical. It’s been a good program for us. They’re very responsive. I don’t know what the thought process was. My husband said, well let’s try these guys and so we did. We have an older home and it’s proved to be a very good deal. The quality has been pretty good, so I would give them an A for the quality. I will give you one helpful hint though. If the company decides they want to replace an appliance, you need to call them and negotiate with them because you can upgrade, but you need to talk to them in person not just do it over the internet."
