"Kitchen drain had been gurgling for months. That didn’t get my attention but when it stopped draining…well time to act. Ivan listened to my problem, took a look and gave me my options. As requested he tried to snake the drain but couldn’t get the snake to advance. Got a smaller snake with the same issue. The snake came back with rust and sludge. Well kitchen sinks are rather important so i gave the OK to replace the stack. Note that I live in a century home with 100 yo cast iron stacks. I nearly fainted when he showed me how the rust and sludge had narrowed the stack’s diameter to the size of my pinky. Through all of this Ivan answered all of my questions, kept me informed and gave me time to think which I very much appreciated. Would I tell my friends and neighbors to use Mr. Rooter? I would enthusiastically! Am I thrilled with my new stack and quick draining sink? Oh yes I am 😄 "

"Everything went well except for fixing the hot water faucet in a stand alone claw foot bathtub. The tech, Chris, had trouble getting the valve removed due to corrosion. As a result the valve needed to be replaced. Chris went to a couple of supply places to get a replacement with no luck. He then put the old valve back in, which was now unusable. He told my wife that we shouldn't use the tub because of the bad valve, left the bill and then left. I now had paid $365 and had a tub I couldn't use. I called the owner to see what that plan was. He was very defensive right off the bat telling me that he knew what had happened and that was the risks you take and that things like that happen and it wasn't there fault, all before i could even ask him anything. He said I would need a new faucet. There was no plan for them to follow up with me on what to do. It is unacceptable to me that they pretty much told me that I was on my own from this point on. After going to a plumbing supply house and showing them pictures of the faucet, he said the gold colored faucet I had was a $2000 faucet and the cheapest option would be at least $650. He also told me it looked like a Kohler faucet and that I should contact Kohler to see if they could help, which I did. They were able to send me the replacement valve which cost $77. I was able to install the new valve myself. If I had listened to the owner of Drain Master, I would have been spending at least $650 and then the faucet would not have matched the tub. I think Drain Master should have worked with me to solve the problem and suggest calling Kohler and not just walk away from the problem."

"We have been working with Ace for years and have always been happy with their work. This project was another example of excellent work performed by a talented and accommodating plumber. Jason went out of his way to make sure my wife and I were on the same page when installing water lines for our new utility sink. Though outside the scope of our quote, he went out of his way to properly install the sink's drain. Unlike their competitors, Ace does not charge a fee for estimates (cough...$139 Pipe Doctor fee...cough). We have always felt Ace provides high quality work at reasonable prices. To this point, be sure to do your research - Pipe Doctor quoted over twice as much for this project. When you call Ace, and we hope you do, ask for Jason; he is genuine and straight forward. His work lives up to what we've come to expect from Ace and we will absolutely call him again."

"Eric and crew were awesome. It was a big job but they completed it in one day. We thought the price was extremely fair, at the end of the job we realized we may have paid too little. Extremely competent and professional."

"Don't let them fool you with family run small town business. They are just like many other contractors and will fleece you if they think they can. Plus workmanship was very poor as install had a potential to do major damage to home as it was not done properly."
