"Had a 23 year old furnace and A/C and although it was operating fine, I was getting nervous about it this past winter when it was so cold for so long. A nice personable young man came to provide a quote in January. He knew I was going to retire within 2 months and that I was trying to get by as inexpensive as possible. Turns out they had a system that had been installed in error as the manufacturer had sent the wrong system to them and they had installed it. It was discovered somehow and they had to deinstall it. This system had the same 85% efficiency as the one I currently had, so it was not the high efficiency that many buy now. He said they could install that system which would have been cheaper for me by possibly $3000. I didn't get a warranty, as that can only be use once and it was used at the first location it was installed at. It is an Amana system. I decided to not have the system installed until spring when the temperatures were nicer so as not to freeze in the winter or bake in the summer while they installed it. Two technicians arrived on time and completed the work sooner than I thought. Nice guys and willing to explain everything and answer questions. Cleaned up after themselves before leaving. So far I am pleased with the operation, although it's only been a month. I had used the heat a few times in the beginning and now using A/C and all seems to operate fine."

Mr. Ferrell is extremely professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient with his time and your money.  I just started using my new computer this week and I am in heaven.  No more viruses...no more waiting 10 minutes to pull up a website...and no more having to pull out all of my cords out of my modem and rebooting my computer.  I am thrilled with the job that Mr. Ferrell did and I would recommend him to anyone.

"David met with my husband and I to see what our plans were for our basement. He was very patient as both my husband and I had our own ideas still. He gave us options and a rough estimate with in 3 days of our first meeting.  As David and his crew started to reconstruction of our basement some of our needs changed. After the living area was constructed we decided to add a wet bar, which turned out beautiful. The spare bedrooms and extra bathroom turned out amazing. We added a Jacuzzi tub ( that was something I really wanted) and the tile work was detailed and flawless, as was the rest of the laminate flooring they laid. "This is a touchy question. Once the technician talked to Choice Home Warranty "it was" going well for replacement of washer,but, when they offered $178.00 I was totally floored. Where am I going to find a Kenmore of equal quality for that price? So, as of today we have a non working washer. But, with confidence in Choice am sure it will end with a good relationship. If not we have another avenue at hand. I must say that when I lived in California I had the same coverage, had the entire heating & a/c system replaced for the price of a service call $70.00. No question it was amazing to have THAT coverage then."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
