05/29/14 Mike was on time and did a superb job, carefully caulking 17 windows and doors. He made some minor siding repairs that were not part of his original quote and showed me some places we could have some work done to preserve our siding (which is at least 30 years old). I asked for an extra quote for that and I have scheduled the siding work for mid-June 2014. The quality of the work was exceptional, just like the last time I had work done by this company (07/28/12). I first met this company because I bought an Angie's List coupon. This time, there was so much work I wanted done I simply called and asked for the quote. I was very pleased.

"Rusty is an excellent communicator, and we kept in touch via text. He let me know times when he would be there. He sent me information on the gutter guards so that I could review them on YouTube. "They showed up early and asked if they could go ahead and get started.  They did my roof in one day.  They cleaned up extremely well.  They guaranteed their work.  Made sure all the nails were picked up.  Had put tarp all around the house.  Removed all lawn ornaments and put them all back when they are done.  Did all the extras not necessarily asked for - went the extra mile that we really appreciated.  Their crew was absolutely wonderful, cordial.  Any questions we had they answered.  Brian, the Sales Manager, came out everyday to keep watch.  The experience was fabulous.  The owner even came out to see how things were going.  They worked with our insurance company and went over the house with them.  It would be a wonderful world if all companies had this work ethic.  I recommended them to my neighbors and 3 of them hired them."

"The guy that took care of the siding and gutter was great. We had a little bit of problems with the roofer guy, though. He did not show up when he was supposed to at least two times. I kept being told he would be at house at a certain time and then he wouldn't. In the end, though, when he finally came to do the repairs, all went well."

"Gary is the best and he takes a lot of pride in his work. First of all, he was able to get me on his schedule very quickly. He basically rebuilt most of the floor in the master bedroom of my Ferndale house. Old subfloor and rotted joists were removed and replaced by new wood supported on solid concrete. He also added insulation and brand new flooring. It was a huge project. Gary took a loose and bouncy floor and made it rock solid. He was careful to show updates on progress and explain everything that was happening. He took extra care to make sure the job was done to perfection. I plan on hiring Gary again!"

"The crew that came out was very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They only tore off a portion of the roof that could be replaced that day so we didn't have to worry about tarps. It took a few days but they were very careful and considerate of the house and landscaping. We had some issues with the roof looking like it was buckling in places and the owner was quick to come out and check it out. He said the shingles needed to settle in and heat up good before they will lay completely flat, I was skeptical about that answer but he said if they don't lay flat then they will tear it off and do it again. Sure enough, they did lay flat by the end of summer and everything looks fine now.

"48Jewel Construction and remodeling had to gut and redo my fathers entire bathroom.  The floor was rotted out due to poor seal on the toilet and over years of not being fixed.  They put a sub flooring down and a new tiles down.  They also installed all new plumbing, fixtures and tub, toilet and sink finishing with fresh paint and new lighting.  What a wonderful job they did.  My father was very pleased with the work.

"HDF powerwashed the entire structure even under the top two decks.  They removed all rotten and suspect floor boards, railing and posts.  My lower deck was the worst because its the closest to the ground.  The original deck builder did not put flashing on the wall where the decking is attached to the house. HDF put flashing where it was supposed to be. Also, that dug drainage channels for the water to flow away from my lower deck. It had been retaining water around the footers for 15 years.  HDF's attention to detail is second to none.  They primed and sealed all new wood then applied 10 gallons of Behr premium stain.
 
My deck looks brand new and from a short distance looks like a Trex deck.  HDF did an outstanding job.  I would not hesitate to call on them in the future."

"I called and left messages with Seamless Transitions Construction on 6/18 and 6/25 to set up a time to receive a quote on a kitchen remodel. It is now 6/29 and no one has called back. Disappointing, especially considering the great reviews on here. :("
