"They were nice guys.  They were hired by the contractor remodeling our bathroom.  I have a complaint against them - they knocked a couple of holes through the bathroom, into the living room.  We had to do the repair ourselves.  The plumbing was fine, but I didn't appreciate the holes in the wall.  I actually complained to the contractor and I don't know if he said anything about it.  I used my plumber for all the other plumbing work in my house.  Once the contractor was through with his little piece, then I got my own plumbing in."

I called their office around 1pm today because I noticed that my water heater was badly corroded and leaking into the safety pan. I chose them because they had good yelp reviews compared to some other companies that do more marketing. The young woman Morgan, that took my call was very professional and told me that someone could come out between 2-5pm. I also called another company, Texas Master Plumber, to get a quote because they were rated highly on Angie's List. Of course, they both show up with 15 mins of each other. Initially, TMP shows up to the wrong house and their secretary calls me to ask why I'm not there. I walk outside and see them halfway down the block. TMP winds up giving me a quote that is $200 more for a less reputable brand water heater than Smart Choice Plumbers. I was also very impressed they wore shoe covers out of respect for my floors and were able to install it the same day. From the time I made the first call to the time they left after completing the installation, it was 4 hours. That is very impressive!! The installation was installed up to the latest plumbing codes and I could tell Carlos was very knowledgeable. It is obvious he enjoys what he does based on his very professional like workmanship.

"Mike reviewed the issues we had at our house. Hard water, bad smells, and reddish brown slime at faucets. He then discussed treatment options and designed a system to treat our water which included pre and post softener filter canisters. This will allow us to use different filter options. Price was very reasonable and lower than most of the other quotes I received. Installer placed the equipment where I wanted in a very professional manner. I asked for a few changes on the fly and added an additional hose bibb. Mike and team took care of this for me at no additional cost. The installation was complete in one day and I had soft filtered water before they left my house. We are going to monitor water quality over the next few months and tweak filters if needed. "I had problems in our back yard with water pooling during heavy rainfall and was concerned about possible flooding of our house and garage.  We have a pool and concrete patio, so I knew this was not going to be an easy fix.

Rob came out and spent about 2 hours looking over our situation and talking about options.  After he left, he came up with a single plan with components so we could proceed one step at a time, then wait and evaluate the success of that step or do a number of steps at once. 

Since we we were very concerned about the possibility of flooding, we elected to proceed with regrading, adding an exterior drainage line from the garage to the street, replacing an existing line from the house to the street, adding catch basins and re-grading areas around the house and garage.

The work was done at the days and times arranged; the crew was very considerate and professional and the work was beautiful.  

Most importantly, we have had several very heavy rainfalls and the solutions we had implemented by Works By Rob are performing as well as we had hoped.   We had no accumulation of water and no worries!"
