"It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. "It has been said, that with every great success, begins with a single small step. Recently, I was faced with my home's central air system failure. Upon review, by my previous contractor, the system could not be repaired and would need to be replaced. Faced with major cost replacement, I used Home Advisor, to select a professional that could provide an estimate for providing needed replacement. I selected Hunt Plumbing and Heating, based on reviews and performance in our community. I could not be more pleased, Mr. Hunt provided a team with the knowledge (Matt and John) that displayed they had the ability to perform and the goal to complete this project to our mutual satisfaction. While it has only been two days, I am satisfied with the outcome and the quiet running of my Rheem Air unit.. Since Hunt is a 5 star rated company I am sure my rating will not mean that much. HPC Services responded promptly, diagnosed the problems and expertly repaired the issues while explaining exactly what happened and how to maintain the system moving forward. "While the technician who ultimately serviced my system was efficient and informative, the overall experience was unacceptable. It took nearly 18 hours and three separate appointments to replace a single fuse under a warranty installed on November 4, 2025. The dispatch, scheduling, and supervisory staff were dismissive and unresponsive, demonstrating a complete lack of customer care. This was, without question, the worst customer service experience I have encountered. Additionally, the failure itself appears to stem from incomplete installation guidance, as I was not properly advised on potential system vulnerabilities (such as power surges). While I appreciate the technician?s work, the breakdown in communication and service at the management level makes it difficult to recommend this company."

"as convenient for me.  I have a maintenance contract with Valpo and the service was free, as part of the contract.  Also part of the contract is a discount on other  services, like when my heat went out last winter.  They came on short notice and fixed my heat when it was really cold outside.  The receptionist is very organized.  She was the one who called me to remind me that my service was due and then she scheduled it at my convenience.

"Travis Grove contacted me less than a minute after I submitted a request. He came day-of on a Friday afternoon to inspect, and quickly found the capacitor had failed. He had a replacement on hand, though the issue was the fan as well. Travis made sure to keep me informed of parts availability (fan vendor closed on weekends), and text me updates. If his arrival time changed, he made sure to let me know. The new fan is more powerful, to provide better cooling. He noticed my refrigerant pressure was low as well, and made sure to fill it up. Travis was friendly and easy to talk to. His price was very reasonable, including all parts and multiple hours of labor over two days. My system is working well and cooling better than before. All set for the summer heat!"

"I called in the morning to see if they could get me in for a brake job that day and they said yes, when I got there I asked if they had time could they take care of the 100k service and a few items I wanted to check and replace if needed if they had time.   They said they would call me with an estimate on the brakes and offer some options on the other services I requested.  They called me 30 minutes after dropping it off saying the brakes still had 40% left.  The whole reason I thought it needed brakes was the dealership had told me in January during an oil change that they needed replacing, the serpentine belt needed replacing,and so on.  I skipped doing the brakes and did all items on the 100k mi service and looked at some other wear items.  In the end I did the required service at 100k, transmission, transfer case, front and rear differential fluid flushes and change.  The list of things I had concerns about and like to replace just due to age, they inspected and did not recommend replacing at this time.  I have always gotten my service done at the dealership for all my cars, this experience along with the reviews here that led me to contact them in the first place changed that.
