"Energy Star came out to do two things for us which is installing a new Smart T and balancing the duct system in our house. For the smart thermostat, they absolutely nailed it. They did it right, had no questions or hesitation (unlike some other people who tried to quote it), and programmed it correctly. For balancing the duct system though, they did it very quickly and honestly, it was not as thorough as I was hoping it would be. I was hoping they would help me reach some ducts I had difficulty reaching or identifying some ducts I could not identify. Instead, it really felt like a case of me telling them what I knew where each duct went, and if they can easily pull the lever they did -- but that is something I could have done for free myself. So between the two cases, I would call it 50-50 success."

Docs offered me honest advice about replacing (rather than repairing) my water heater because the warranty had expired. I would have chosen to have Docs replace my water heater; unfortunately, Docs did not have scheduled office hours on Saturday. I was able to schedule installation of a water heater with another company that was open on Saturdays."
