"My home is 21 years old and the HVAC systems were struggling, so it was time to replace the attic unit which served the 2nd story and the HVAC unit in the basement, which served the finished part of the basement and the first floor. The heating and cooing had been terribly uneven in the finished basement and the first floor, so adding a zoned system was very important to us. Maynor gave a competitive quote, but what set them apart from the other quotes was their attention to detail. Norm and his colleague came out twice to measure and make sure the zoning could be done, because space was tight to re-run ductwork, and they likely would have to cut through sheetrock to get things done. They took time to spec out the features in the HVAC systems that they knew were needed to meet our requirements. The installation crew was Rob and Austen, and these guys were total professionals. I've never had a team work on a major home project that was so professional in every way. They were extremely communicative, calling as they left their shop to tell me when to expect them, going out of their way to describe what was coming next, what the timing might be, etc., etc. Their work was of high quality, and the installed systems were neatly put into place. Their attention to detail (and new building codes) was superb. Since a good part of the installation was going through a workshop, and would be taking up more space than the previous HVAC system, Rob and Austen we proactive in telling me where new components might need to be located, giving me options, and respecting my preferences. They went out of their way to minimize the sheetrock that needed to be disturbed, making the job more difficult for them, but meeting our needs completely. Best of all, the new HVAC systems are working beautifully and have given us what we've been looking for -- a solution that heats and cools both the first floor and the lower floor very evenly. Maynor's professionalism was also evident in all our communications with Christy at the home office, dealing with billing, registering the system and applying for rebates from the power company. Maynor really has it's act together and their team goes out if its way to make sure the customer gets the right equipment, installed with the highest level of professionalism."
